The location is central, service friendly and the lobby very nice. However, the room we had was rather dated , 90s style( there might be renovated ones, too, but we got an old one), views are everything but inviting ( backyard and walls) and the bathroom gets slightly flooded when you shower. The shower is good though, strong pressure and... More

This is a great hotel for the price and location in La Candelaria. As a solo female senior traveler I feel totally safe here and walking about (without a purse or bag and with no smart phone etc. just a money belt). The Botero is a wonderful 4 block walk away (the street art and architecture are wonderful) and the... More

When you get a four-star rated hotel for $31 a night--including breakfast for two--your criteria for writing a review softens a bit. That said, I really liked Hotel Augusta. And for $31 a night, I loved it. I think you will too. At this price point, you might expect an out of the way location. Actually, in some ways, Hotel... More

I stayed here 4 nights in all in two different rooms on the 11th and 12th floors. Very close to the Gold Museum and all the museums etc in the Candelaria it is a good base for walking around the city. The rooms aren't big but they are decently equipped, good wi-fi, lots of hot water, in room safe, hairdryer.... More

Decent hotel in Candelaria in a very good location for the universities and museums and centro historico and some great value restaurants nearby. Also, only a short walk to the cable car for Monseratte. In fact we are heading back there tonight!

The staff is great. What a fantastic service! The location is nearby some of the old attractions of the old city center. But the most we liked of this hotel, was the service. They did everything for us, without extra charge. Absolutely great service! The hotel is not expensive, very good value for money.

The hotel is quite nice, very friendly staff especially Lina. The breakfast options are good. A time sharing business is located on 3 floors of the hotel so the elevator takes too long. The standard rooms are too small for the average European sized person. The room was supposed to have a minibar but it didn't. No shower caps or... More

Well located hotel between the old part of Candelaria and the business district. All sights (gold museum, Plaza Bolivar, cathedral, Candelaria, Monserrate) are in walking distance. Several bars/ restaurants nearby. Good breakfast, friendly service.

No rating for this hotel strikes me as particularly appropriate. Five would be misleading, because the hotel is in reality pretty well worn and badly in need of a remodel. Three would be understating the location, the incredibly helpful staff and the strange sense of comfort I had during my stay here. As long as you have an understanding that... More
