This hotel rates about 3.5. The main drawback is the noise, in some rooms. I was initially in a room with a window, facing calle 10 (a fairly busy street). I asked to move and they had nothing on the side facing calle 9 (quieter side), however they put me in a windowless room (middle of hotel, at my request)...

Would like to rate 3.5 but cannot. Staff friendly and helpful, airport pick up efficient. Rooms fine, price good for a single room in Bogota. At a slightly dodgier end of La Candelaria which makes after dark an adventure. Great location during the day and close to lots of things. Bed very hard and like said before, 1st floor is...

We were dissapointed with this hotel. The television didnt work and we were kept awake from seven am from tr obscene noise from the reception. While the ladies at the desk were lovely the owner was extremely rude and wouldn't allow us to keep our bags at reception for a few hours. Overpriced.

Location was good, rooms were clean and there was hot water but the staff make far too much noise in the corridors from very early in the morning and the lady in charge was extremely unhelpful in that she refused to store our bags for a few hours and she was borderline rude on a number of occasions. The tv...

Chose the hotel on a combination of its price and location - both were pretty much spot on. Very close to Plaza Bolivar and the old town so excellent for sight-seeing on a tight schedule. Felt safe at all times, might look a bit dodgy outside but its on a street full of tailors and there's always security around so...

Close to lots of great sights and bus lines, we stopped through here briefly. Desk staff was incredibly helpful for our continuous and varied questions and needs... We took the tiniest room (pretty small!) facing the street, which was loud. I'd still go back for more!

Much the best "3 star" hotel I have stayed at in Latin America. Great location two blocks from the Plaza Bolivar. A constant Police presence at night makes it very safe, even if a little errey. The hotel staff (one family I think) were very friendly, although breakfast was not included, they were happy to provide coffee on demand. 4pm...

Can't beat this place for location, 2 minute walk to Bolivar Square and right in La Candelaria district. The rooms are a little small but they are very clean and the hotel is located on a pedestrianised street so there is no traffic noise at night! Great place to base yourself for 2 or 3 nights in Bogota.

This little place is literally right next to the main Bolivar square in Bogota. A little dead at night, but there is government security all around right by there at all hours anyway. Room was fairly small, but clean and the staff was very friendly. Nice inexpensive coffee and breakfast places all around nearby.
