We live in Bogota but stayed here for a night because I had a free night certificate that was about to expire. Everything was great except for the reception. The lady that checked us in was rude and didn’t acknowledge my lifetime Gold status. The room was incredible and large. Food was really good and so much so that we made a reservation for brunch for the following weekend (it was awesome). On some nights they have music which we enjoyed greatly.
Stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. Upon check-in, was greeted by Fabian and felt very welcomed as an elite member. Was given a room at the club floor. Since the club is closed, was given breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The room was a bit small, but upscale. It had a plush bed, a 50 inch TV, safe, and minibar with snacks and drinks. It was very clean and comfortable. Had no issues sleeping. The bathroom was nice and had upscale pharmacopeia and thann bath products. I found the shower to be a little weak and it took some time to get hot water. However, it was clean and did its job . The service is what makes a Marriott a Marriott. It was personal and everyone was treated like a VIP. The front desk was able to answer any questions I had and provide assistance when needed. The restaurant always greeted me with a smile and was prompt in getting my food and drinks ready. Even the private security greeted me with a smile and allowed me to pet the security dog smelling the bags for explosives. The food was very delicious and plentiful at their Italian restaurants. I took advantage of their breakfast and enjoyed their omelettes. I only took dinner once, and enjoyed a Caesar salad, beef tenderloin, and ice cream. Wine was also included and was in great quality. I overall found Marriott to be a solid 5 star hotel in the Bogota Airport area. With the very nice rooms, excellent service, and amazing food, this is indeed a great choice to be near the Airport.…
It's been almost four month since we got back to Canada and we stayed there just for two nights. They offered a three-course menu for the Marriott Bonvoy members at dinner time. You can have best quality dishes & drinks in Bogota and the portions they provided were quite big. So be careful not to eat too much!
It is located in a quiet neighbourhood area and close to a big shopping mall. It feels a little cold in the morning and at night especially when I try to take a shower. I don't know if other room has the same problem as mine. Anyway, hot water doesn't come out of the tap quickly, you have to wait quite for a while. And besides, there is neither sauna rooms nor the executive lounge, which I could use really. I think unfortunately, many hotels don't offer some of their services that they should to save money.
I was disappointed with this Marriott Hotel because they continue to use Covid as an excuse to no provide full service to its customers. I am came to Bogota on business, and I routinely rely on Marriott’s Executive Lounge to conduct my business. Of course when I arrived at the hotel, they informed me that the lounge was closed, but that they would credit me with an extra 1000 points for the inconvenience. But the lounge is more than points, it has a business lounge and conference rooms. So I asked for those benefits and they said that they would allow me to use the business center at the hotel. I went to the business center, and they were completely out of toner in their printer. My room was in the executive floor, and again due to Covid, they had removed the coffee machine and hot water carafe in the room. Unfortunately, since the lounge was close, I couldn’t go there to get a cup of coffee or tee anytime. So I went to the front desk to complain and let them know that I would be checking out in the morning because they were using Covid as an excuse not to provide the services Marriott normally provides. This is when they offered me an executive dinner since the lounge was close. So the question is, why didn’t they offer that in the beginning? Again, it confirms that they are trying to save money on services, and using Covid as an excuse. So, I did check out the next morning, and transferred to another Marriott property within walking distance of the Marriott, which has an operating lounge, and offers full services without excuses.…
This was my first and second stays at this hotel. I was there one night in July and then returned for 2 nights in August. In both occasions I received excellent service from all the staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The extra touch of having a coffee machine and a complimentary bottle of water, were the perfect way to start my day. The breakfast buffet was fairly good and with plenty of choices. Staff serve you instead of guests picking up everything from the plates. The hotel provides good protocols to prevent Covid-19 in the premises. Only one restaurant is open to serve all guests. The gym was well equipped and had everything I needed for my workout. There is a spa and a pool that I hope to use in my next visit. Special thanks to the front desk staff for being so accommodating and arranging my private transportation from and to the airport during each stay. The ride is only 30,000 Colombian pesos (roughly $8 USD or $10 CAD).…
Stayed in your hotel last April 16-17, 2021. From the front desk to breakfast buffet, the service was outstanding but I want to make a special shout out to your employee named DEYSI YINETH DELGADO GARCIA who works at your SPA. I was impressed with her professionalism and excellent service on my massage and facial. She's very thorough and knows her job very well. She's an asset to your hotel. To all future guests; avail their spa services and look for Deysi.
It is a comfortable hotel with a nice pool and is very clean. All of the staff was friendly, especially Karen at the front desk who was very helpful. The location is good between the airport and downtown.
I stayed in the executive suite which overall was old in terms of furnishings but the bathroom shower was great. The service of this hotel from doorman to receptionist, waiters is perfect. They are friendly and efficient. I truly enjoyed staying there for this particular reason.
Good size rooms, good breakfast but was a bit crowded during peak hours. The staff was courteous and professional. The bathroom is a bit dated and requires some renovation with a better shower facility
