Detailed Reviews
Location: The hotel is located on a short walking distance from the Calle 57 Transmilenio station. There are grocery stores and cheap diners right outside. The area does not have a shady vibe.
Room: The room was small but in good condition. The rain type shower had great water pressure. The room also had a large window and an equally large bathroom mirror. There's an electric outlet near the bed. The bed was adequate, neither terrible or great.
Noise level: The room was not sound proofed in any way, and traffic from Calle 53 could get pretty loud even on the 6th floor. There were also some noise from other guests in the corridors and other rooms, once even at night.
Internet: The 5Mb WiFi in the room was stable enough for casual use, but a bit spotty for work. The best WiFi is found in the 9th floor restaurant . The reception area WiFi did not work at all.
Breakfast: A piece of white bread and scrambled eggs made to order with a choice between two available fillings of the day, usually some variation of ham, cheese, or maize. The rest was buffet style with butter, fresh fruit, coffee, hot chocolate, tea and fruit juice, but no milk. Breakfast is served at the 9th floor restaurant which is quite nice with a panorama view over the city.
Staff: None of the restaurant or cleaning staff spoke any English, and as far as I'm aware, neither did the reception staff. For those like me who are trying to learn Spanish this was an opportunity for practice, while for others it might be negative.

Stayed one night here and it was good. The staff was friendly and helpful (getting cabs, recommending restaurants, etc), the room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel from what I could see, the rates are low, it's right up the street from an Exito (huge grocery store), and there's a restaurant at the top of the hotel (which offers a decent view of the city). The only negative was that our room was kind of noisy, as it was on the corner so we had traffic from both sides, and the windows don't seem thick enough to block the noise. Oh well. For one night it was totally fine.

It is an old, very simple hotel, that's why it is cheap. My bathroom window was broken, so when I went to take a shower, the bathroom was really cold because of that. The good side, it is cheap and close to the airport. There is little to see around, and the restaurant didn't attract me. I would recommend this hotel only if you really want to save some money.

The hotel goes by another name- Hotel Suite. It is situated on a noisy intersection with windows that didn't close properly. I had no towels in the room and when I asked for them the bellboy said he couldn't bring me any as he had to stay at the front desk to relieve the receptionist who was busy with an event. Nor could he give me any. Came back late and the night porter was absent upstairs. Had to wait for ages but he did have a towel to give me. Precarious locks on doors. For a hotel that is not bottom range I found it lacking and not like others describe it.

Mysteriously my passport and several thousand pesos went "missing" from my room. All they did was tell me to check my suitcase again. No one will check security cameras or investigate it at all. I thought having a private room would be safer than hostels but apparently not. BE CAREFUL AND LOCK YOUR BAGS UP!!!! Also, the wifi is terrible. Also, no hot water.

So this is my 2nd time to stay here in Bogota. I choose this location because it is walking distance to all of my meetings. I must say the rooms are comfy, the beer is cold, and the service is really good. Its not cheap... But you really get what you pay for. I stay at alot of hotels around the world and I must say this one has the best front desk service, efficient and more than polite and helpful!! I do highly reccomend this if you come to Bogota for Business.

I've enjoyed staying here on a number of occasions. There are pros and cons. The staff is great, the breakfast is pretty good and there's a cool view from the top of the building. Depending on what part of the city you plan on hanging out, it's a pretty good location with a great corner-store next door to it. However, it's on a busy intersection so if you're not used to traffic in a major city, it might be a bit overbearing.

Bad service. Viewed 2 rooms. No wifi and tv's weren't working. Awful old looking carpets. Bathrooms looked fine. When I viewed, I hadn't yet checked in. Went back and told reception. They absolutely didn't care. So I left, and never returned!

Stayed for one month for work. Staff were excellent. Make sure to request the newly renovated rooms, they are very modern and comfortable.
Hotel restaurant was ok, but only seemed to be hotel guests eating there, it is not where the locals eat.
Only issue was with Laundry, once they gave my clothes to another room, also, work shirts were always folded, therefore had to iron them after paying for dry cleaning.
Overall, a great hotel.
