The hotel is located at a walking distance from a Transmilenio station and Parque Lourdes. It is clean and the staff is friendly. As principle I do not trust the one that does not trust me, in the hotel you must sign a receipt with the inventory of the minibar. You do not get a formal invoice after payment.
Very clean but very strong perfume smell, ants in the room. Notified the desk about the ants but they could do nothing about it. The hotel is located three blocks away from the train station which is very convenient. There are lots of coffee shops and restaurants. A supermarket across the street.
The rooms were very clean, and they do their work cleaning them everyday. however, the products they use to clean have a very strong smell, which an be uncomfortable when they just cleaned. besides that, everything was perfect, the personnel is very kind and they will help you with directions and suggestions to places. one of the best things was they will hook you with Don Jorge, a local old man who will give you a tour with a lot of information. a very knowledgeable person. we took the trip to Zipaquira, the gold museum, and to Bogota's downtown. highly recommendable.
Hotel location is convenient for getting into central Bogota. I would however say it's not the safest or best for restaurants. This does reflect in the prices. Rooms are fine and basic-like previously mentioned they can smell and are very loud, even the rooms at the back. Staff are fine, but they don't speak much English (that's of course more my issue and not speaking much Spanish!). Wi-Fi is fine also. No breakfast to speak of. Probably wouldn't go back if I had the choice.
I read the reviews before booking, and I asked the stuff not to perfume my room. They assured me not to worry. After our arrival, the room was so perfumed, that it was impossible to get a sleep. Horrible. I dont understand why they do this.
