Cruz de los Andes We stayed here for a few nights upon arriving to La Paz. Easy for the taxi driver from the airport to find, and smooth check-in and all that. Overall, this is a pretty decent entry point to stay in Bolivia if this is your first hop. We were happy here, however, if you're really picky or... More

Stayed here twice as the location is convenient and the price is fair. Its a clean and comfortable spot, with most of the walls covered in murals which makes it very cheery. Its tucked away on a fairly quiet narrow one-way street near the witches market and San Francisco church. Some of the rooms have balconies, but ours was dusty... More

We stayed here on two separate occasions and enjoyed our stay. We were on floor two and three on our different visits and the stairs were tough with our big bags due to the altitude (we were thankful not to be on the 5th floor) Breakfast was good and the staff were really helpful and allowed us to check in... We are travelling around South America as a late twenties/early thirties couple and we stayed in Cruz de los Andes in a private room for four nights. The value for money was outstanding. It felt more like staying in a hotel whilst paying hostel prices. The location is great, right in the middle of the centre and only 5-10 minutes... More

Our room was located on the 5th floor, without an elevator, which was a struggle at altitude and with heavy bags. The hostel was eerily empty and dark. There is a nice communal area downstairs but there was nobody there. It is located in a sketchy area of La Paz which didn't feel particularly safe, day or night. When we... More

This is a beautiful, well-maintained, cozy and confortable hotel. It's decorated with care and taste, many walls with incredible murals. Our room was really big and clean, with a tiny balcony. The street is a bit hidden so there is none of the street noise typical of La Paz, and the windows have thick curtains so the light doesn't wake... More

This is a great hostel (well, probably was a hotel before) even if you are a solo traveler and just want to unwind after busy days, treks or the salt flats. It has only single rooms with ensuite so lacks the social area but for that you can just head to Wild Rover or the like. It gives you most... More

We stayed here for a few nights before and after a trip to the rainforest. We had a double room with bathroom. The place is clean, the location excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the wifi connection is good. There are also hot showers and a nice breakfast. I'm not sure it's very good for lone travellers since it... More

We stayed here while in La Paz. It's in a very convenient neighbourhood, the receptionists are really friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and much less cold then elsewhere we have been sleeping before, the hot shower is amazing, wifi is really good, and so is breakfast that's included in the price. We really recommend.

This is a basic hostel. A place to sleep and rest before planning your next trip. It is clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Most speak adequate English. Close to the hostel is the famous witches market where you could pick up a bargain or two.
