Wonderful little hotel hidden out of the chaos of colourful La Paz. Still located in the centre, the hotel was only minutes from the main attractions of the city. The happy, helpful owners could speak English but patiently let me practise Spanish during our exchanges....More

We were very pleased with our three night stay at El Consulado. Compared with the historic district, this is a much better location for access and quiet. On Saturday and Sunday we had English speaking staff but come Monday, staff was Spanish speaking and overworked....More
