El Consulado resides in the old consulate of Panama, and still retains much of the atmosphere from an earlier time. The house consists of a Restaurant, a Hotel, an Artisan Shop and a Gallery. We are part of the Topas Group, a Danish run Adventure Travel Agency, whose office you will find in the basement of the house, should you be looking for high quality Adventure. There are many good reasons to visit us, even if its just to sit and read a newspaper in our garden.

Wonderful little hotel hidden out of the chaos of colourful La Paz. Still located in the centre, the hotel was only minutes from the main attractions of the city. The happy, helpful owners could speak English but patiently let me practise Spanish during our exchanges. Breakfast

This was booking based on price and location and it came out fantastic. First of all the accommodation is a colonial house with big windows, high ceilings, and a good old fashioned bath tub in large bathroom. The rooms are large so the space is enough for suitcases, backpacks
