Good location near restaurants and artisan shops. The hostel has a lift which means no lugging your luggage up several flights of stairs! Beds were comfy and there was a lovely view of the city. Hot water wasn't too bad, the bathroom floor got absolutely soaked though, and didn't dry overnight. Basic breakfast supplied. Wifi was sketchy but I think... More

Good location - really close to San Francisco Church. Clean rooms. Cold water- showers are not hot, at least not always. Depends on the luck. Cold rooms - at least we had extra blankets. Poor Wi-Fi - only available in common areas but too slow. I don't know about the other hostels in La Paz, but in Tupiza - Bolivia,... More

Very disappointed with the hostel for the following reasons: The room was freezing day and night due to the windows having gaps. The showers were so cold The lock on our door was so stiff that only my boyfriend was able to lift the door up and in whilst sliding the lock across The beds sagged in the middle- very... More

You could probably save a couple of Bolivians if you searched around, but I was recovering from a stolen passport and time was my object, not money. So - bed OK, electric hot water was one of the better ones I've had the displeasure of using around the world, everything clean enough for my low standards. I wish the pillow... More

Very basic rooms, dark and run down. Watch out if you stay for many nights, you'll have to specifically ask for room cleaning. They'll charge you for the service regardless and are not transparent about the fact that you have to ask for it. Breakfast is very basic. Staff are helpful. Good location. Habitaciones muy básicas. Hay que pedir por... More

The location is pure center (Sagarnaga street), nearby you will find travel agencies, laundry services, taxies, exchange offices, the main spots of the city, so that is a PLUS. Apart from that the hostel is DIRTY. I felt bad even lying in my bed. I do NOT recommend having a breakfast there (unless a banana and a coffee is enough... More

Price is not the lowest.. but the hostal is fine.. the best thing is the location, close to linares street and lot of travel agencies arround. Weak points.. the bathroon, the shower.. i couldn't take a hot bath in the 4 days i was there. Wifi connection is low... breaskfast is good for what u are paying for.

One of the cheaper options in La Paz, we thought it is a nice hotel because of all the good reviews. But unfortunately had different experiences. The hotel is seemingly catering mainly for Israelians. The evenings, nights and early mornings are a whole party with loud music, shouting and door slamming. Even with earplugs it was impossible to sleep. Constantly... More

This hostal is in the centre of gringo town, so it's close to many useful travel agencies, the artisanal markets and the witches' market. We thought it might be really noisy, but the club next door seems to shut by 11pm, and it's very quiet after that. The room and loo were fairly clean and the hot water was working.... More
