A great place to stay, excellent rooms with very comfortable bed, very spacious and romantic rooftop patio. Staff is super helpful and Julius Tours next door is also superb with recommending and organizing day or longer trips. Highly recommended. Very safe, secure.

My wife and I are in La Paz for a few days. And we hadn't read too many positive recommendations about the hotels in here. We took our chance with hotel Estrella Andina, since we read that it was a clean hotel and we are not disappointed at all. The hotel is really clean, the location is very central in...

I stayed here for a total of 9 nights while on a climbing trip in La Paz, leaving for a couple of nights and returning on several occasions. I had one or other of 2 single rooms each time. The rooms were not huge but had plenty of room for me and all my gear, with a comfortable double bed...

This is a budget option and you get good value for what you pay. The staff were very friendly and had no hesitation in offering us an early breakfast because we had to depart before the restaurant opened. I'd also recommend the same-day laundry service which was very good value. The rooms are adequate but some small touches could make...

We only stayed for one night however we were delighted at the facilities. Our room was spacious, beds comfy, amazing view of La Paz. The shower was hot which was such a relief as we haven't had that luxury much in Bolivia. Wifi started off great but then was non existence which was a shame. The lift was broken which...

Very disappointed. Came because of favorable tripadvisor reviews. Pretty crappy, rundown place. Asked for help with airport transfer but cost was more than fixed taxi fee to airport, so asked for taxi instead. Location ok, but staff rude and uninterested. Requested early breakfast, appalling. No plates, cutlery, just bread and jam. Messy and inconsiderate. Dreadful

It was our first visit to La Paz and we chose this establishment according to the reported location and budget. La Paz is very large city absolutely swarming with tourist. The general feel of the place is that they are totally "blazé" regarding tourist. Rooms are not very clean and the bathrooms are just minimal.

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. Pros - hot showers available ( need to keep it running for a while) - thick blanket and lots of pillow. Very important as La Paz night is 4c to 8c - good spread of breakfast - LIFT AVAILABLE AT ALL FLOORS! Carrying luggage to level 4, at 3600m altitude is arduous -...

We stayed in Hostal Estrella Andina for 2 nights it's located in a good area not to far from main sites. We got overnight bus from Uyuni and we were able to check in straight away. The only down side is the rooms on road side are very noisy. Very friendly staff and the Juliustours were great so helpful both...

We stayed here before and after travelling to the Bolivian jungle. This hostal has spacious rooms, great breakfast with pancakes, eggs, cereals and juice and best of all amazing hot/powerful showers - much appreciated after five days in the jungle! It is also in a good location as it is near to many restaurants and the witches markets.
