Excellent location, restaurants very close and you can walk every were from the hotel. We arrived before check in time and they were able to let us in the room. Very friendly staff, the room was comfortable, we loved this place!!
Since we arrived ( early) we were greeted and welcomed. We were celebrating anniversary and got a room overlooking the city and the water. Bed was very comfortable, shower with a fantastic pressure, good towels and clean, crisp linens. Breakfast was superb, added by smiles and good attitude of the person in charge. If you are looking for comfort, cleanness, service, Boutique hotel Atlántico is a must.
Stayed for two nights and could have stayed for more. Excellent location on the peninsula, with two very nice restaurants one block away. Use their bikes and take a tour of Punta del Este, great way to sightsee and get some exercise too. Service at the front desk - fantastic. Yes, this is the right choice for Punta del Este.
Wonderful hotel: superb breakfast, with delicious uruguayan food, dulce de leche, medialunas, etc. with living room and bedroom, very well renewed bathroom and kitchen, new air conditioning, beautiful pool, pool bar, great location, nice staff, near of everything you cand do in Punta on foot. We loved it!
Spent 5 days in this boutique hotel and I wish it was more.. the staff is super polite and friendly, our room was bright and spacious, they even have a pool bar wich sells amazing food and drinks. Breakfast was nice and untill noon thats great when u wanna wake UP late and still have the chance to have good meal. Thanks for everything Atlántico ser you next year.
The hotel is just great! Amenities, staff, location , everything made me feel really comfortable. The side Pool bar was excellent. I really recommend for families, friends, couples or just going alone like me . I hope Can come back next year !
Very rarely does TripAdvisor fail us. We have been to 50+ countries and very rare to be disappointed with a TA top pic but this was one of those cases. First off, we had a car so if you don't, I guess I could see why people like the location. However, the negatives are big. The street noise woke me up several times (and my wife) and I can sleep through anything. Also, we were woken up both mornings at the crack of down by a baby crying nearby and doors being shut (walls must be super thin). Because of this lack of sleep, we asked for a late check out on our last day and they said no. We couldn't believe it. That really upset us. The room was super super small also, so if you are staying by yourself, you should be good but if you are a couple please look elsewhere. We stayed at the Grand Hotel before this (I know, it is much more expensive) and we both greatly regretted checking out for Atlantico. We would not recommend to others.…
Too much money for the service! 170 $ a night!Breakfast simple and they can not afford you a simple boiled egg if you ask for one. Left at 10 with question to clean the room. Back at 17.30.. Have to wait, not cleaned yet!! All we ask ‘we look for it’ but nothing is looked for..Definitely too expensive for the simple service!
We stayed here the second week of April. The check-in was smooth, we received a lot of information about the hotel and the surroundings. The room was clean and the every day cleaning was perfect. The breakfast was excellent with good food choices and great service. The hotel staff is very polite, all the time with a smile on their face , greeting you and answering your questions and offering help. And yes, they speak English. The garden around the pool is very well maintained. Aaa, the pool! a great use of the backyard, with everything you need, a super clean space and a crystal clear pool. A true oasis. The decorations are very beach-inviting, the music is relaxing, the white furniture is very cozy and a good fit with the beach theme. In the afternoon you can have complimentary tea and coffee with a snack. I found this a great idea. The location is very convenient, close enough to the beach, main street and restaurants. This hotel is a gem and I highly recommended.…
We had a great time staying at Hotel Atlantico. We were three and they have the room perfect for us. We are very happy with our experience and recommend this place for an affordable yet comfortable stay in a very nice location, close to many interesting places like El Puerto (marina), La Rambla, and many good places to eat and have a good time at nightime. The front desk people are very helpful and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable of the city which was very useful for us to get oriented from the get go. Franco was particularly accommodating and the check in was fast and efficient as it should be. We had not a single complaint about this place, everything was glitch-less, the breakfast was good with fruits and eggs and bread, etc., rooms clean and very well upkept, always an answer for any question, a little self-service bar with sodas, water, juices and adult beverages. This place functions as clock work, with its little pool and outdoor bar, the computer station, and the extraordinary staff tending to all your needs. It's got everything you may need and then some, however there are no useless spaces or amenities which is what makes it a very smoothly run and consequently affordable option to stay in Punta del Este. Highly recommended as friendly, clean, affordable, and very well located in la peninsula (La Punta)…
