Well equipped appartment in Punta del Este. It's very clean! The breakfast is really good, one of the best in Uruguay! Fresh fruit, bread, fresh juice, good coffee. I liked the laundryplace! Helpfull staff! There is a gym but the machines are not the most new ones.

Great apart-hotel! The apartments were super tidy, clean, and very well equipped. I had a very comfortable stay. The only drawback was the noisy generated by the construction just next door, but has nothing to do with the service provided by the hotel. It was unfortunate that the building under construction was less that 10 meters away from my balcony... More

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at Sol y Luna. I thought it would be more of a hotel type of place, but it's actually an apartment building, with hotel type of services such as housekeeping and guards in the front. Our room view was perfect - we had a corner room but had a view of the... More

Beware Building Works! Don’t be deceived by the elegant appearance of the Sol y Luna entrance. When checking in, I casually asked the unnecessarily rude receptionist if we could have a ”nice view”, only to be told that she never leaves the reception desk and therefore had no idea about the various views. When we arrived at our apartment, our... More

Don't be fooled by this apartment style hotel, while rooms facilities were excellent, the details of the web regarding their spa facilities are somewhat exaggerated! The don't tell you that you need to access the pool via the underground car park, their hydro massage is in fact a hot tub on the 11th floor, which sounds lovely but on our... More

Stayed one night and actually enjoyed the room very much but the traffic and most of all the construction of the new building right next door was bothersome for me. Love the location as you can basically walk in any direction and there is the beach and a cute cafe close by called the Panificadora which had great coffee and... More

We stayed in Sol y Luna for a week over the Christmas holidays and enjoyed it. The location is perfect if you are looking to be in the middle of everything. A few blocks in between Brava beach (rough beach with waves) and Mansa beach (calm beach more like the bayside). The kids preferred the Brava side for all the... More

How lovely to discover you have been upgraded to a two bedroom, two bath suite with a fabulous balcony The hotel was lovely, immaculate and a dynamite young woman called Marienella who helped us in any and all ways she could. Made our stay of three nights a delight
