This is the most magnificent hotel I’ve ever seen. The building itself is breathtaking: it takes a good 10-15 minutes to walk lengthwise from end to end; the all gold-and-bling interior is majestic, yet still very pleasant because of the high ceiling, spaciousness and abundant natural light. Facilities in our newly renovated rooms are also of the highest quality- Mandarin Oriental never disappoints. Service is impeccable. Both the housekeeping team and the beach/lifeguard team are among the very best we’ve had. We particularly appreciate Lasith and Cristina from the east beach and pool, whose warmth and professionalism made our stay very enjoyable. This hotel is a foodie’s paradise: - Hakkasan’s food and service are even better than the original one in London. Duck salad, Peking duck, the wagyu dishes and Friday Dim-Sum lunch are so delicious that we dined there 4 times during our stay; - Al Qasr is a culinary gem: My sons love the Tomahawk wagyu steak (huge) with extra sauce from the generous and super friendly German chef Johannes. The slow-cooked beef cheek is a also a dream dish; - Sayad’s gourmet Mediterranean cuisine is exquisite. We love the prawn carpaccio, Wagyu steak and duck ravioli. Even the focaccia is a culinary treat; - Breakfast is super delicious. Tatianna’s smiles and friendly chats were the best way to start our day. Hotel’s private beach is long and very wide, with fine sand, heavenly for beach walks. It was very quiet and relaxing to stay on the beach and by the pool. Our very special thanks to the butler team: Presana and Joseph took great care of us; assistant manager Ciara is a wonderfully gentle and warm lady; the what’sapp communication for reservations is very convenient and efficient. The team has made us feel completely at home and at ease during our 12-day stay. One area that might need improvement is concierge. Everyone there is very polite and friendly, but guests’ convenience and best interest should still come above all other considerations: strangely, I was recommended by concierge to take a different PCR test for New Year's Eve gala dinner (not the one the hotel already arranged); I inquired about tickets for Ferrari World and was told to pay in cash (I later bought the tickets online). I do hope these are merely two stand-alone glitches.…
A Super Palace...with quite tiny rooms the first 3 categories......they offer 50 qm...I did not see that..its max 45 qm. . From the balcony oceanview You cannot see the ocean..because the balcony wall construction is way too high. You need a bar chair and a table. ..to see the ocean. The actuall prices are just a greedy ripoff....the real value is not exceeding 200 Euro..the rest ist just typical arab greediness. 1250 Euro for halfboard...these Arabs are playing with everybody a fool game...they need their next Bentley maybe urgently?.
We stayed there for a few day during the holiday. The hotel is a bit old, however it is very big, and spread out. It is probably the biggest hotel I have ever been. There are many services avalible. such camel riding, water sports, meet with Santa, etc. However, due to time, We did not have time to try. The pool is nice, service at the pool is very good. The hotel service needs improvement. For example, I have talked to concierge about booking a car back to Dubai. I never heard back from them. The hotel is in the processed to put under the mandarin oriental. I hope the service could be improved. The room is decent, not the the biggest comparing to the ones in Dubai somehow. I will go back again, especially after it gets to the level of Mandarin Oriental in terms of services.…
The hotel is beautiful and is as luxurious as the photos you see, but the service was disappointing. It's a huge place and there were no staff around to direct me where I needed to go. I spent so long wandering the guest floors, trying to interpret the signs (which were confusing and very brief, so the info wasn't helpful). Twice, I found someone who worked there and both times they said they didn't know how to get to where I wanted (pool and restaurant for breakfast). Upon leaving, I requested someone to come get my bags, but after waiting 45 minutes I rolled them myself. On my way to check out I passed a worker managing one of the doors and he directed me to go through the doors, but did not hold the door for me nor offer to help as I tried to open the doors and pull my luggage through. He was texting on his phone. This stay was intentional to de-stress (which I mentioned in my reservation) and one I'd waited to do for a long time. I was so disappointed. I mentioned the problems to the person at check out and was told, "sorry", but there was no sincerity. I expected so much better. 💔…
Without doubt, the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. This was our second holiday at EP and having only recently stayed in Dubai at The Atlantis, it’s the next level. All the staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. The Palace is vast, but the Club Cars made scooting from pool to bar to pool to rooms a doddle. Special mention to Milind who was an absolute Gent; so courteous and attentive. We’ll be back during 2022 and looking forward to the newly refurbished rooms Well done Emirates Palace
