We booked confirmed 3 nights stay thru Agoda from May14- May18 2021, upon booking I made sure to request and ticked the non smoking room. I’m with a friend who will undergo some procedure in the hospital, for privacy I will not discuss it here but I can provide a proof for that. We arrived and checked in the hotel around 10:30 pm as we came from western region in RUWAIS which is 2 and a half drive to Abu Dhabi. Upon check-in we were told that the room given was the only room available because I’m requesting a higher room. I can’t even recall the receptionist named BISCHOY told us that he placed us to a SMOKING room or what he said is a COMMON room. I’ve noticed that there is no refrigerator in the room so I called the reception to request for one because we have a medicine needs to be stored in fridge. I spend most of the time outside the hotel while my friend is resting inside the room as I was running some errands. I came back to our room around 12 midnight . I’ve noticed that my chest feels so heavy and even smell a strong odor inside the room and I’m so sure that it’s coming from the cigarette smoke. Around 1 am I went down again and ask BISCHOY if he placed us to Smoking room but he had the most unprofessional, unfriendly, unhelpful and unapologetic demeanour . He said AS I TOLD YOU EARLIER it’s common room. I’m not stupid to accept that said room if I’ve known earlier that it’s a smoking area as I have an asthma. I can’t even recall him saying that said common room. He asked me if i want to transfer to another room but I have to wake up my friend so we can transfer. I explain him once again that my friend had an early hospital appointment for her treatment in Khalifa I can’t wake her up as she needs to rest well. he offered me to book to another room. I told him no need I will try to come by after lunch to request for a non smoking room after we came back from the hospital.. I went back up to our room and try to sleep but slowly I had a real ASTHMA attack. My hearts beats fast and had difficulty of breathing, I’m teary eyed when I went down at 2am and asked BISCHOY if he can move me to another room because I can’t sleep in the smoking room. I even showed him my VENTOLIN INHALER, doctor’s summary visit report stating that i have an asthma , the list of my medications but he didn’t seem to care! I was told to book for another room and I have to pay for that! We keep on arguing and I keep on explaining things All over again but he didn’t care and understand our situation. It’s a matter of serious health issues but for him It looks like I’m faking everything. I’m so disappointed that I can’t even control myself and i started to raise my voice. I even told him that I will put bad reviews in trip advisor and in any app . Boom! Then he started to offer me that he will book another room and upgrade it. I told him NO THANK YOU I will move out and will sleep to somewhere else house nearby. We booked a hotel for us to rest and condition ourselves for the hospital procedure and ended up like this. BISCHOY is an awful person and his behavior is not acceptable. I may be annoying for requesting a fridge, for requesting a higher room but it is our right as a guest coz we pay for our hotel stay it’s not for FREE!…
Every thing was grate. Without asking they abgradee my room from classic to Suite .it was nice experience and the room was big and comfortable. The location is fantastic in the downtown. Car parking service excellent.
What I loved: 1. The room was big and roomy. I appreciate the layout too. 2. Super clean 3. Prompt support by hotel staff 4. Great location. There are walking distance eateries and a supermarket. Walking distance to Corniche Road if you want to jog.

Room was nice and relaxing city view thanks to the reception (I forgot his name) for giving us a nice room and view. Very good location in downtown Abu Dhabi. Some negative feedback, like the pillow it makes us uncomfortable and there is an old house smell inside the cup boards. Room service not good enough. Housekeeping appreciated your call (Mam Monina) they found my sister's extra car keys.
