I came across an all inclusive deal online for the Beach Rotana. Now having travelled alot and aware AI menus are different at hotels, I picked up the phone from the UK and called the hotel directly. I was clearly advised that ALL drinks and ALL snacks were included including the pool bar, however dinner would be in the buffet restaurant. If we wanted dine around it would cost an extra $3k per room. As we spend most of the time by the pool I asked again the drinks and lunch menu at the pool bar included and was clearly told YES. Got there and first day at the pool was given a two sided menu and was told I can only order from one of the side of that menu (so not really ALL Inclusive then is it?), which had no food, no mochtails and an extremely limited drinks menu. Only three soft drinks on the menu (Coke, Fanta, Sprite) if for example you wanted soda water, ginger ale etc you had to pay 18AED. Only a few cocktails on the menu and if you wanted to order a mockhtail you had to pay extra (Go figure!!!)! You cant have tea or soft drinks in the lobby cafe or the outdoor patio area. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR MISS SELLING "ALL INCLUSIVE". it is at best FULL BOARD. We had two rooms, in one the electricity kept tripping, had to complain 5 times before they changed our room. The second room the bathroom shower kept flooding, every day was told they had fixed it by day 5 just gave up and looked forward to checking out. There are much nicer hotels with better Half Boards than BR and I personally would avoid this hotel. I would compare this to a MAGALUF style hotel in the UAE. I had been advised on numerous occasions my complaint had been escalated to a manager, including Mohammed at reception as he was clearly trying to avoid speaking to me at a busy reception with guests. During my whole trip not ONE manager approach me to ascertain my issues or look to deal with my complaint. Management seemed disinterested as no approach in my 8nights I stayed at the hotel. For me just this shows the arrogance and lack of any customer service in this hotel. Also do not be fooled by the reviews, the Guest Relations Manager walks round the hotel cornering guests with a QR code and asks if they can leave a review whilst he is waiting. Its pressure tactics to force customers to leave a review. Will I return to this hotel - definitely NOT. Will I recommend the hotel - absolutely NOT!. Regardless of the lip service comment that will be left on this review. Call the hotel yourself and clarify the BR interpretation of All Inclusive AKA ALL RESTRICTIVE deal. Look around other hotels in Abu Dhabi and you will find much nicer hotels and management that look to resolve issues with far better Half Board offers than the CON the Beach Rotana is selling!…

I attended a wedding at the Rotana in November, it was an amazing setting and the decor was fabulous. Unfortunately my shoe broke, I went to the front destk and they immediately offered to help. A really nice gentleman called Ammad from client services brought glue and tape which held my shoe together for the event. I was so grateful for that and I am definitely please with my experience.

From the minute we arrived the service from every member of staff was unbelievable. From the room service vouchers to accommodate our late arrival to the smiles of the waiters by the pool, everything was magnificent. Couldn’t have asked for any more and the courtesy of Naoufal on the front desk was just the icing on the cake! We will definitely be back next year

The service, food and ambience was amazing at this hotel! Finz was outstanding food, the catch of the day was superb. Also Michael at the teppanyaki restaurant was fantastic so funny and the food was amazing there too!! I will definitely return to this hotel. Keep up the brilliant service Rotana!!

Our family stayed in the nearby all suites as they had young children but were able to use all the facilities at the main hotel, so we could do things and eat together. We were upgraded to a tower room which is bigger and had a large balcony. Worth asking. The staff in all areas especially round the pool area go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you want.

The hotel vibe and atmosphere were really amazing. I liked the swimming pool and the traditional Arabic restaurant with live Arabic Oud music. The breakfast was really nice and included a variety of dishes. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The only negative point was that we could hear the noise from the restaurant downstairs despite being on the 6th floor.

What a brilliant hotel with amazing facilities and the staff are what make the hotel so good. without the staff then the hotel would not be the same. Every restaurant is fantastic and the food outstanding. The pool area, Gym facilities and beach area also first class. Reception staff all brilliant and the food again unbelievable. Bedrooms could do with a makeover however this will not stop us coming back many times in the future. Special mention to our room attendant Krishan who was friendly, courteous and a big credit to the hotel. 5 star means 5 star at the Beach Rotana unlike many hotels in Greece, Spain and Turkey. Once again thankyou for a brilliant week away.

I stayed here for 6 months this year and had the most amazing experience. The staff are kind and helpful. The housekeeping staff do an excellent job. The facilities such as the pool are very nice and the location of the hotel is very convenient.
