I rarely place reviews but have to on this occasion, I booked a suite on line a few weeks before my arrival, I also emailed them a few days before my arrival to say I would be arriving at 8pm as it was a little late. On arrival I was told my room had been re sold at 4pm as I hadnt arrived!!! This was outrageous, I went to speak to the manager of the hotel, he was extremely dismissive and just said we are fully booked tonight, and tried to get me in a cheaper hotel around the corner, which when I went to look at it was even worse than the Al Jazeera Royal Hotel, Its certainly not very Royal!! Im stil awaiting my refund and I did eventually find a much better hotel for a similar price nearby, but i really wouldnt recommend this hotel or its staff. Looking on the reviews it seems the reselling of rooms is a regular problem at this hotel!

The hotel 🏨 was ok but not what I expected from its name and reviews . Pros : • medium room size • average clean bathroom • average ac • average hotel appearance • average food Cons : • No parking and no enthusiasm to help the customers to get so and even they have it purely based on tips • very poor reception dealing • very less number of items for breakfast as we only got some half pieces of parota, some Chana curry, boiled egg and for this they say “ it’s free breakfast “ • actually we got that room for less price from booking.com offer . Original price was 500aed + which the room is not worth for. • very poor communication with the customers and never have the mind to think what they want or to enquire about All total not recommended for another more stay again in the same hotel .... 🙁

My Stay was arranged by my employer several times in 2018, and even for a free stay it is not worth it, the reception staff and the room boys are either sluggish or too occupied. The rooms are not very great and feel congested, the toilets aren't very updated. The Wifi is very poor and the free bies are also limited to one water bottle or none (On two Occasions). The Only advantage of this Hotel is the Location opposite to Madinat Zayat shopping Center and the Al Ibrahim Restaurant. The Breakfast service is also below Average.

The good thing is that it is located in an interesting location, the rooms need a lot of improvement especially the bathrooms require updating and thorough cleaning. The staff at this hotel were nice and helpful too. Breakfast was strictly ok!

The service was not good. We need to call 4 times to recieved the comb. Food variety for breakfast was too small. Egg and pancakes is too cold the fuel is wasnt even lit that time. Wifi is hilarious every single time you need to ask from reception new password and pin. We order food for our late dinner and it was amazing. No gym but easy access to everything. Location is superb. This hotel I reccommended only for traveler who look only place to stay not for luxurious experience.

Went there for check in, instead of asking politely the front desk agent was very rude. People's with attitude how they can get good customers? Very poor. Was my first visit badly impressed I will never book with them again. Am a frequent traveller to abudhabi from dubai. I never had such a bad experience. Was so embarrassed because of the staff even I witnessed how the staff was dealing with an old couple it was so un professional.

I booked through Hotels.com and received a confirmation... When I arrived they said sorry, but we are fully booked...I said ok, but here is my confirmation. They said they were full and that they thought there would be rooms available but it didnt happen. my question, is why did they advertise available rooms if they really never had them...is this a scam to keep the property double booked so they remain full but at the risk of inconveniencing the guest when the arrive and turning them away. This sounds like the typical middle eastern scam by the operators of the hotel...so i say double check your confirmed booking, they might only hope they will have rooms available but not really have them. Its embarrassing and extremely frustrating to drive 30 mins to their hotel and be turned away in the late hours of the night. I will never book with them again.

7 course meal for around $12.00 U.S. Up 1 flight of stairs at the Al Jazeera Hotel. Kind of hard to find. They acted surprised to see Americans. Lamb and Houmas dishes were the best I've had anywhere! Service was exceptional even with a small language barrier.

The front desk worker was very nice. I was new to the UAE as Abu Dhabi was my first stop. He told me some points of interest. He also directed me to the beach and was very accompanying with anything I needed. The location was great! I walked almost everywhere. It was close to the beach. And all the touristy places along the way. The front desk man also told me about some great festivals that we're going on. He made my time in Abu Dhabi very pleasant.
