This is by far the most amazing hotel we’ve stayed at. The check in and check out process was a breeze, and the hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and great. The room was very clean. We stayed in the corner king bed suite. The room was huge with a living room and separate bedroom and dressing room. It also had a guest bathroom and a full bath. The toiletries in the bathroom were very generous: full sized toiletries rather than small bottles. The room runs on technology. For example, the lights and curtains open by using the iPad and remote control.
The hotel also has a pool, a gym, and a kids club. The kids club was a life savior when my husband was tired and didn’t want to go out. The club is free for hotel guests for 3 hours a day. The kids club is quite big with a library, PlayStation area, bricks, and other toys.
The hotel has 3 restaurants and a bar. We always dined at the Garage. Dinner and breakfast were great at this universal restaurant. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel. There is a large selection of food from different parts of the world (Arabic, Indian, and Asian).
If you plan on costing WB, Ferrari World, Yas Mall, and Yas Waterworld, don’t be afraid to use the complimentary bus that takes you to these stops. The bus runs every 20 minutes so make sure you get the bus schedule from the hotel. There’s also a bus line that takes you to the beach which is complimentary if you’re staying at the hotel.
I have to say that staying at the suite was quite expensive, but it was worth the money. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. First of all from a COVID perspective you feel really safe, regular checks, great sanitising facilities and clear signage.
Positives:
From the outside the hotel looks amazing and well located. Short transfer from the airport (10 minutes) Great service Great choice of restaurants (half board for 3 nights, we eat at the Italian, Indian and Garage restaurant). Good quality of food and overall good drink choices Wet lounge and pool on the roof top is lovely and well maintained. All the colleagues did a great job, service was excellent, room cleanliness was ideal. Room layout was spacious good facilities in the room and very comfortable bed. Close to the F1 track, and if you want to walk or cycle round it in the evenings they can organise this for you free of charge (a must for all fans like we were).
Negatives:
None of these are show stoppers but for me is the difference between an excellent and a very good review
Due to proximity to airport and marina sitting out on your balcony will be noisy at times with loud music or planes (We were in room 2120 so on the Marina side) There was some fixtures and fittings that could do with cleaning or tidying up I.e a loose wire on the fascia outside our room, cleaning the windows on the bridge above the track and between the two windows, etc etc. The drinks are expensive both by Abu Dhabi and 5 star hotel standards. Very good draft lager choice though. Wine choice was more limited. Breakfast would have preferred smoked salmon rather than Turkey ham with my eggs royale. The tea facilities in the room were not topped up during the stay (coffee and water were).
Will I come back to this hotel, probably not, am I glad I stayed for 3 nights and recommend the same length of stay to others, absolutely.

My family and I stayed at the W a week ago for a short visit to Yas Island. From the minute we entered the hotel, we were greeted by welcoming staff members who immediately helped us with our bags. When you enter the hotel, the lobby is absolutely stunning and smells amazing! It was a great start to our trip. I stayed in a suite with a water view, everything in the room was wonderful and the balcony is HUGE! We didn’t want to leave the room!
After our stay, my boyfriend and I loved the hotel so much, we decided to come back for New Years. The New Years events were spectacular- the staff was so happy and energetic, they put us in a great mood. The food selection at Garage was extensive, truly something for everyone.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, one of the best experiences I’ve had at a Marriott. If you’re in Abu Dhabi, this hotel is a must! Thank you to the staff at the W for making our trip so special!

Had a very short stay here for a long layover in Abu Dhabi going to another destination, but it was just great! They upgraded my room to very spacious one which they call "Fantastic". I had a very cute welcome gift. The view might not be as exciting as facing the circuit though, which is ok because I had a glimpse of the circuit during the breakfast. I went up to see both of the pools and it's just amazing! From the main building you could see the circuit.
This the first time I saw a hotel providing a generous size of toiletries... 120mg of each of the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. I love the smell of the lemon soap as well.
Noise of the cars buzzing around might be annoying to others, but since I am only staying for a few hours and was very tired coming from a long flight, I had a relaxing stay and charged me up for my next flight.

We headed to the W for an unexpected stay in Abu Dhabi. Having previously been here a few times and because the rates where so good on the day. We were looked after at the front desk by Hamza who was amazing. We had already been given an upgrade but I also asked for a room with a balcony that was not covered by the awesome room canopy so I could get some sun.. wow did he sort it out. We found ourselves in a beautiful suite over looking the race track. There was an racing experience event taking place on the track which sounds amazing from the balcony.
Breakfast as usual was amazing and the room was spotless. Both pool areas have a bar and always kept very clean and well staffed
There was a brunch going on on the terrace in the main building on Friday afternoon which I wish we had gone to (not as far as I am aware on any kind of offer or entertainer deal 😭😭 us Brits love a bargain). The atmosphere sounded fantastic though. The terrace overlooks the main part of the beautiful marina.

We decided on an impromptu trip to Abu Dhabi during our recent trip to the UAE and picked this hotel on a bit of a whim, but wow, what a fantastic hotel it was. I made my friends very jealous saying I'd stayed in the hotel at the Yas Grand Prix circuit!
Due to my Marriott level, I received an upgrade on the room I'd booked (thank you!) and what a fantastic 1-bed suite it was that overlooked the circuit. A fantastic livingroom area with a huge TV to watch meant you'd somewhere to chill rather than having to sit on the bed to do that. The bathroom was huge with separate standalone bath and shower - loved the fact too that the bathroom didn't have a marble floor and thus weren't risking an injury due to wet feet and a very slidy surface! The smellies were very nice too! That bed must have been one of the biggest I have ever slept in, although the mattress was a bit hard for my liking.
Food (dinner and breakfast) in the restaurant was very nice and the staff couldn't do enough for you.
Big shout out too to Maria the Welcome Desk manager for her help and assistance with our stay.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights - we had it as part of the package with park tickets. Unbelievable value for money! The hotel is super modern, good breakfast, fully justifies 5* rating. As a free bonus you have some racing on F1 track almost everyday, so get the room facing the track for extra fun. The only thing you need to be mindful of is if you plan to use the pools - even in April it is really really hot, as they are on the roof, and i wonder who can stand these temperatures for more than one hour even in the morning. Must be lovely in colder months though. Also, the process of getting customers to sign some receipts for breakfast, even is the breakfast is included in the room rate, although great for some internal business reporting, is a bit frustrating for the customer, i wonder how many times per breakfast employees have to explain to the guests that signing this check does not actually mean an incremental charge

Some criticize about the noise around the hotel, but what do you expect from a hotel just next to the racing track of the famous formula 1 competition! Isn‘t it exciting to catch a whiff of racing air when sitting on your balcony? The windows of the hotel‘s rooms are well isolated against noise, so that this was not a problem for us. And at night there usually are no races taking place. The hotel itself was outstandingly designed by it‘s architects and everything in and out of it very modern and comfortable. We have been many times in top hotels in Abu Dhabi and feel the W is one of the best! Last but by all means not least: The staff, starting at the reception to the room attendants were ever so helpful and extremely friendly. There indeed was nothing to complain and we certainly would come again to the W, if on the Yas island.

Just returned home after a weeks stay at this hotel. Lovely modern hotel with a grand entrance and the biggest rooms i think ive stayed in. I did ask to be moved to a different room after my first night and the hotel gladly done so. Rooms are very modern and roomy with everything you need, views are excellent too. All meal times were great and a great selection. On entering the restaurant you was welcomed by one of the staff who would look after you and take your food/drink order. The roof top pools were excellent and great for sunbathing when the sun did make an appearance. All in all, a great hotel with excellent staff who are only too pleased to assist you with anything you require. Would definitely consider returning if in Abu Dhabi again.
