We came to the Traders Hotel, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on February 14th, 2024, and we were very happy to be here as guests. I should say that the Traders Hotel has an amazing modern Executive Suites with incredible views to Persian Gulf, VIP Lounge and 3 restaurants with delicious food, private long sandy beach, live music on the beach with seafood/meat grill buffet during evenings time, fully equipped gym, and all what necessary for 1st class vacation in the 5 Stars hotel. Separately I should highlight extremely friendly and helpful personnel who did all for our comfortable staying in the Traders Hotel, Abu Dhabi. All personnel have perfect professional manners, very high level culture of communication and friendly attitude to guests. We are warmly thankful for all patience and efforts to: Mr. Almaine and Ms. Amal – two 1st class waitresses in the VIP Lounge, who served delicious meal to us during our staying Mr. Naveen and Mr. Rupak – very careful and helpful receptionists to all our needs Ms. Pubudu – very diligent housekeeper And I have to pay attention to a perfect management by Mr. Nidal Mwaffack, Assistant Front Office Manager for all his patience, and ability to resolve any issue with professional manners. These people above did amazing our staying at Traders Hotel in Abu Dhabi. We strongly recommend the Traders Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as an excellent place to stay. Traders Hotel is located in an area of luxurious hotels but accessible for an affordable price The staff is well trained and attentive, From the Reception to the housekeeping, every request was answered to in matters of minutes. The safety of the guest was always prioritized and a complete sanitization was regularly done in the room and common areas. Everything looks clean and new, including the beach and its sunbeds, despite the situation with covid19, the staff here were highly motivated to make people enjoy their stay and forget about their problems. I highly recommend Traders Hotel, for couples or single travelers visiting Abu Dhabi, the location is amazing, 5min from the Grand Mosque and 20min for Yas Island. The beach gets busy on the weekend, with kids and families, as a solo traveler I preferred to skip the beach for the weekend, there is also a maximum capacity policy. Al Afya restaurant is my favorite, Can't name all the staff but I was never disappointed, positive attitude and response to every single request ( Thanks to the chef as well) Overall the experience was good, the only issue was the parking if you are driving, parking will mostly be unavailable in the evening, no valet parking avaiabale and no covered parking neither.

We visited this hotel for 9 nights from January 21st, easy 15 minute taxi from AD airport and greeted like an old friend by reception. We booked a deluxe club but were upgraded to a premier on arrival with a balcony. The first room we were allocated was above the hotels main entrance and as a light sleeper I asked to move and we were quickly escorted to another room which turned out to be perfect (304). Although we were not on the ‘club’ floors we were very happy with the sunny balcony!
Our 9 night stay was perfect from start to finish we really didn’t want to leave and wished we had booked longer.
The beach was lovely with the added bonus of a small cool box with water which was available all day. Very comfy sun beds and nice towels made for enjoyable days at the beach which over looks the Ritz Carlton hotel.
The hotel is connected to the Shangri La and a small souk with a supermarket by path and small boat and you can also walk the opposite way to the Fairmont so we really enjoyed the location of the hotel. Having visited Yas Island and the Corniche area we were happy with our choice and said we would definitely return.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff, every single person we came across greeted us and we honestly felt at home here. Special mention to the staff at the club lounge who we enjoyed chatting too on an evening. The lounge is a real asset we didn’t know what to expect but soft drinks were available all day and alcoholic drinks from 5-7 pm which we enjoyed watching the sun set over the mosque from the 9th floor. When we booked the traders we had never stayed in a hotel with a club level and we found we spent most nights there enjoying the food and drinks and yes you really can make it your evening meal with soup, salads, meats, canapés, cakes......!!
We mainly used this as a beach holiday but travelled easily by taxi to the Louvre, the Grand Mosque, Yas Island and the Marina Circuit and the Corniche. Approximate taxi costs were 60 AED to Louvre, 40 to Yas, 20 to the Mosque, 50 to the Corniche. On arrival we paid 60 from the airport but only 40 back.
We can honestly say we have not experienced hospitality like we did at the Traders and felt very sad to leave and for this reason we hope to return and hope no changes are made because it really is ten out of ten.

I don’t usually go out of my way to write a review for a hotel but Trader’s Hotel deserves it. I’ve been to a lot of hotels in Abu Dhabi. From 3 stars hotel to 5 stars hotel. My husband and I have a habit of rating everything, just for fun and just to have a list of our own. From fast food chains, to restaurants and hotels. For this Eid Holiday, I decided to book a room in Trader’s Hotel for 4 days for me and my family. I’ve been to Shangri La and Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, and since I always loved the beach in this area, I figured I try this one out to see what it can offer. And I was not disappointed at all! At all!! As someone who is working in the healthcare industry, I was not disappointed by how they are handling the Covid situation of the country. They make sure every corner has a sanitizer, free masks for guests and sanitized every are (I’ve seen it) and made sure that the protocol from the government to prevent the spread of the virus are implemented. I was greeted nicely by the security guards and the ambiance was really great. When I went to the reception to check-in, I realized I booked a smaller room and that it was not facing the sea view, and that it didn’t had a balcony. I was planning to just cancel the booking and go to Shangri La but with the help of the wonderful Mr. Heeler from the reception, he managed to upgrade my booking to an amazing room with perks for a great price. And I did not regret agreeing to him as he was true to his words. I’m thankful that he solved my problem right away and honestly, if it weren’t for him I would’ve not enjoyed my holiday. We got amazing breakfast and happy hour from Afya, which has great, accommodating and kindhearted staff. Food was amazing. Literally everything that Mr. Heeler offered, I got and more than what I expected. And every request I made, it was done immediately. All the staffs of this hotel are just amazing, from the helpful and joyful housekeepers, the receptionists, the valet drivers, the hotel boys and the restaurant staffs, but I just really wanna thank Mr. Heeler and Miss Carmen from the reception as if it not for them, I wouldn’t have enjoyed my holiday I wouldn’t have discovered this amazing hotel. Kudos to all the staffs. It might not be recognized as a 5 star hotel but the service of each people who are working here are exceptional, who are far more better than some of the staff I meet in the hotel I previously checked in. My experience was so amazing that I extended our stay for one additional day. So in those 5 days we were there, I felt I was taken care of, I was given importance without making the other guests feel left out and I felt happy and relaxed. My husband and I would definitely, definitely go back (he loved the jacuzzi tub). This might be our new favorite hotel. I was not expecting greatness from them as it is marked as a 4 star hotel and it has always been cheaper than the neighboring hotels, but it proved me wrong. This is the hotel I can truly say value for money. It’s the Eid Holiday so we expected everything will be a little bit expensive and this is one of the cheapest one I saw and I got more than I paid. The staycation you pay less bit got more.

I have recently stayed in the Traders hotel with my family, whilst they came out to visit me in the hotel.
On arrival we were told we could not check into our room despite in being past the check in time, however the reception team found us another room quickly and managed to get us into a premium room. This was of a very large size and worth the extra money. The only issue with this was that it was a smoking room (despite asking for non smoking) so had to request to move and found ourselves in our originally booked room.
This was of a very good size too and was more than large enough for my family of 3. It was always kept clean and tidy and had a balcony which had some great views.
The pool area was where my family stayed during the days and the lifeguards could not have been more helpful to my wife and young child. They are a credit to the hotel.
The beach area is lovely and you can walk along the beach to Shangra La or Fairmont hotel.
Another recommendation would be the brunches the hotel puts on. We went on the Friday night BBQ and it was very good for the money you spend.
After a few hiccups at the start, we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and would recommend a stay here.

Our room cleaner was Prosper. He cleaned our room every day. After he finished his work, our room was perfectly clean and tidy. Prosper also noticed many things, such as that we used more water or a clothes horse. Then he simply oranized us without being asked for more water or a clotheshorse. We are very grateful for his work and are happy that he was our room cleaner , because he was always very helpful and extremely friendly.

Stayed in this property for a night with family and friends.
Ahmed and Fathi at the reception responded quick to our concern with regards to the room -thank you!
While at the lounge, Isabel is very attentive and nice.
Don from the concierge is also helpful to us upon check in and check out.
The housekeeping and guest service team are also quick to act when we requested for some amenities .
The breakfast attendants are also nice .
Overall, it’s a good experience staying in this property!

I love my 10 days long stay. I had one of the best assistance from Isabel (Filipino lady). She accommodated and help us about the whereabouts in the city and even offered her bus card to relieve us from trouble on where to get and buy. John and Heeler (both Indian guy) assist me and my business partner all throughout our stay, security of our luggages and stuffs even after our check out. Nimesh (Indian guy) offered help to send and drive for us going to souk. Such a great guy and tour. The house keeping team too are friendly and very accommodating. Though I forgot to take the first guy who cleaned my room (too tired it slipped off my mind to ask for his name but it seems like he’s from Africa or Nigeria) but the second guy who cleaned my room Agus offered to change my mattresses and covers even without asking. My 10 days were perfect! Such a great service not to mention fast service if you request something from them. Thank you so much! I love my experience and definitely will come back with my family and recommend to my friends too!

When I read the reviews of this place and its location, I had very high expectations. Unfortunately they weren’t met. Part of the issue is that this place is surrounded by other nicer hotels so in the end it is the least luxurious of the ones on the strip. Having said this and given some of the other places I have stayed, the service was very good. The people really did their best to serve. The buffet is fairly extensive but the one restaurant is average and the hotel only has one restaurant while many others in the area have at least 3. We were 3 adults and booked a room to accommodate this and when we arrived were told we had booked a king only room. They rectified the issue by providing us a free upgrade that included a pull out twin. The upgrade was a good size room and did the trick. Bottom line, I wouldn’t stay here again but if you go in with average expectations of a 4 star location, then you should be ok. The beachfront was decent and the service at the beach was also good. It is a generally nice looking property.

This is my 6 or 7th stay at Traders hotel and it is a hotel I’m always happy to return to. If you want a quality hotel with absolute top class service Traders check all the boxes. The staff is super friendly every person makes you feel at home always smiling and willing to help. The friendly experience starts at check in. Rooms are big and spacious, extremely clean. All staff members is doing their outmost to ensure you have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Beach and pool areas are well maintained and service is top class from all lifeguards who at times are having to deal with very difficult situations due to people (customers) not understanding the role of lifeguard. I experienced several customers who couldn’t understand that looking after their children in the water is not part of a lifeguards duties as well as couples finding it difficult to keep appropriate distance. In both cases the guest were very quick question the lifeguard on his duties, using abusive language and threatening with complaints. All this nonsense takes away the lifeguards focus on what is really his job to keep the beach safe. The restaurant has a good variety of both Middle Eastern and international food as well as fish and barbecue evenings. Breakfast has got plenty to offer. The restaurant experience is probably the highlight of the stay all staff is doing their outmost to ensure quick and correct service 2 waitresses who really stood out during my stay was Edith and Carol their approach to customer services and satisfaction is simply outstanding. Having said that all restaurant staff is doing a fantastic job but list of names is simply to long to remember. Well done to everyone. My only hope for the future is both lobby and pool bar will re-open before my next visit some of the charm is currently missing. As for improvements, it is hard to improve on perfection I can’t think of anything at all that could be handled in a better way. Overall I can only recommend for anyone travelling to Abu Dhabi to visit the Traders and will definitely return myself. Well done everyone.
