While the rooms are generally spacious and clean, there are comments suggesting some may benefit from modernization.
Guests frequently commend the hotel's inviting atmosphere and the staff's warm service, despite occasional lapses. From the moment we stepped into the hotel everyone was friendly we had arrived to early for our room but the check in desk managed to get us in our room early which was very helpful. The hotel itself self was very clean and smelt lovely the rooms were clean and the view was lovely we were on the 15th floor and could see the sea as well as the fountains on the road. The rooms were very quiet at night we never once heard anyone above or to the sides and no doors banging late at night which is a big plus for me. As for the food I could have easily come away a stone heavier breakfast there was almost to much to choose from something for everyone’s tastes and diet. Dinner was the same always so many different meals to choose from and always seemed to be refilled if they ran out. There were loads of staff who were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely and plenty of lifeguards so no worries if you bring children. The beach was also very nice and the sea was so hot like a warm bath. There were plenty of water sports to do and also keep fit in the pools in the morning with some of the staff. There was always a taxi outside and getting around was easy and cheap lots of attractions near by. Overall it was one of our best holidays for my wife daughter and i to the point we nearly booked while flying home it was that nice but held off as our son and girlfriend will more than likely be coming with us next year as we will definitely be returning there’s nothing to fault perfect weather perfect hotel and staff well done

The perfect hotel for a quiet, measured holiday. I've been here three times and I love it every time. Check-in takes place as quickly as possible, try to check-in on arrival even in the morning. The room is huge and has everything: bathrobes/slippers, bathroom facilities, water/tea/coffee, even iron and ironing board. I particularly like the fact that the room has a full bath and shower. The balcony is also huge and with super views (either to the royal palace or to the sea). I took breakfasts, a selection of food for all tastes, including local cuisine, regular European bacon/eggs/hashbrowns, lots of greens/vegetables/fruit, there is a separate food counter for children, and of course a large selection of different pastries. It's hard not to get well)) The pool is large, refreshing in the heat when coolly heated. I like that I left the hotel and there's a swimming pool, right behind it is the beach, white soft sand, calm cove, sunbeds full, there are always places by the pool and on the beach. Bonus beautiful views of adjacent towers for photos. I went to the gym, equipment and exercise equipment can certainly be updated a little, but I realize they are used by units, not much in demand. There's no downside to this hotel for me. It's gorgeous! P.s. hotel is non-alcoholic, if you need cocktails at the bar, better choose another Rotana hotel

We just got back from our UAE trip, and loved our stay at this hotel. While my wife thought certain aspects could be improved, we were overall very pleased with our stay. We stayed a total of four nights over the Chinese New Year holiday.
Positives (there are many):
Location: at the west end of the Corniche. We had a third floor room, with amazing views of the Qasr Al Watn, and the Emirates Palace hotel. These views get even better at night. In fact, i felt like i got an upgrade, being on this side of the hotel. On a cool day, you can walk directly to the Presidential Palace. About 20 mins car ride to the Grand Mosque and Louvre Musuem (different directions). We even took advantage of the location to visit the Al Homs festival and Abu Dhabi open (tennis), all a short Uber ride away.
Pool: temperature controlled, and not too crowded in the mornings, though it was windy some days in January, we really enjoyed this part of the hotel most. Beach was nice, but sea water a bit too cold to enjoy.
Service: hotel does not provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Had to ask multiple times and call reception before we finally got some. But overall, five star level service. Provided plenty of water, and I think even had a turn in service in the evenings, which effectively meant two room cleanings per day. Very prompt room cleaning, unlike some other UAE hotels we stayed.
Yas Island Express: we felt lucky as the last couple to make it onto the bus. It is about a 40 minute ride to Ferrari world, if you plan on taking advantage of this service make sure you go early to line up (great value, saves about 100AED in uber, per way)
Luggage storage: hotel helped us store our bags for more than 7 hours, which gave us another day to explore the city, very much appreciated.
Kamoon restaurant: service a bit slow in the evenings, but I thought the food was a good value. No mandatory service or hotel charges unlike at other restaurants.
We did not book a breakfast or meal package as we were often outside the hotel exploring Abu Dhabi
Improvements:
Seemed very family oriented with lots of young children. So the screaming and crying in the open rotunda/buffet area can be an issue in early evenings
Fixtures in the room like the carpet felt a bit dated. But overall very comfortable experience.
Overall:
Very much appreciated to the hotel for making our first time in Abu Dhabi so very memorable.

A wonderful holiday in an incredibly stylish hotel! Excellent meals, cuisine is varied, there are theme nights "Italian cuisine", "Asian cuisine", "Meat barbecue" in all variety. Many commonalities, green salad of different kinds, rukkola, freshly squeezed orange juice....In general a belly feast is provided. The sea is clean, always warm, limited by buoys so tourists do not swim beyond 30-40 meters from the shore, entrance is gentle. Animation is well organized. Special thanks to Varvara and Tomi for their daily charge at 10:00 a.m. and yoga at 5:00 p.m. (except Mon), they work perfectly with both adults and children. Cocktail cross-zero and cocktail ping-pong are especially good!!! Bravo Barbarian and Tommy! You're great animators! I really enjoyed my holiday! We really want to get back! Family from St. Petersburg, Russia.

We rested in this beautiful hotel with my sister from June 12 to June 23, 2023. Previously, we read a lot of reviews about hotels, looked at photos on the hotel website, but in reality the hotel exceeded all our expectations! The hotel is very clean and well maintained. All hotel staff are polite and friendly, very attentive and responsive. We arrived at the hotel at 9:35 am, and by 9:45 we were already in our room, meaning we were checked in very quickly. We got room 1722, on the 17th floor, non-smoking. The room has everything for a good rest: robe and slippers, iron and ironing board, electric kettle, water and tea and coffee sets, which are replenished daily. The rooms are cleaned daily and very well, towels are also changed daily, bed linen is changed every other day. The menu in the restaurant is varied, designed for every taste: various meats (beef, lamb, chicken, turkey), fish and seafood, cheeses, sausages, various vegetables, herbs, fruits and dried fruits, nuts. All dishes are prepared in a variety of ways and are very tasty: boiled, baked, fried and stewed. Lots of different delicious pastries, pastries and cakes in the mornings and desserts in the evenings. It should be noted that the hotels have very good cooks and pastry chefs, and the waiters are attentive and helpful. The hotel is alcohol-free, but all drinks - water, tea, coffee, juices, including freshly squeezed ones - are served unlimitedly during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only negative about the restaurant is that the names of the dishes are written only in Arabic and English, I would like to have them in Russian as well. The hotel beach is also very clean, towels can be changed throughout the day. As a result, the hotel deserves the highest rating! We would like to come back here again, perhaps more than once.

International Hotel located in a strategic area of Abu Dhabi with private beach on the front canal, large swimming pools and beautiful garden.
The impressive Hall with the large sofa and the beautiful chandelier satisfy the eye. At the end of the lobby there is a pastry shop/ice cream shop/café where you can spend pleasant moments of tranquility.
The people at the reception are very kind, and being us two families have done everything to make us have neighboring rooms on the same floor, exactly the 12th floor. There are four elevators , two traditional and two others open to the dining room.
The large room with a queen size double bed, we had to agonize a little to fit the third bed but in the end everything went smoothly. As soon as you enter on the right there is a fully equipped kitchen, with kettle and minibar. Every day they leave new bottles of water. Large bathroom (not windowed) with all comforts , with large shower. On the balcony there are table and chairs and the exposure allowed us to enjoy a beautiful view.
The dining room is commensurate with the amount of people. Having decided for the Half Inn in the evening we had dinner at the hotel, enjoying the services offered.
Only drinks are served at the table (even at breakfast) the rest is buffet style. The cuisine is International and the choice is so many and you can definitely find something to eat , the quality is average (I certainly ate better elsewhere) unfortunately at peak time people are a lot and in some cases you have to wait a little for some dishes. Strangely enough, some products when they run out do not restore them. I would recommend not changing food stations every day. I have no idea why but they change daily the position of some foods for example sweets, cheeses, sauces, fruit.
There is also a dedicated section for the little ones.
Last but not least to my sad surprise is a Hotel Alcohol Free therefore do not serve alcohol, only non-alcoholic beer.
Last half day before the pick up spent in the pool. They provide beach towels and sunbeds are free. The pool water is warm the small but reserved beach.
Structure quality / unbeatable price, we were really surprised by the low cost of the stay. Moreover, the location is strategic because it is about 2.5 km from the Presidential Palace Qasr Al Watan (beautiful), 500 meters from the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental and about 35 minutes from the airport.
Taxis are always available in front of the hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great location, with a great beach. The hotel is right next to the Etihad Towers, the presidential palace opposite the Emirates Palace; the marina and the Khalidiya Mall with shopping opportunities, restaurants and very large supermarkets (Carrefour and Lulu) are a 5-minute taxi ride away. A taxi ride there costs 12-15 dirhams (3-4 euros). The beach is man-made: the water is very calm, clean and clear. The first few meters are shallow, ideal for children; after that it slopes down more steeply. So, very good for swimming! The pool is big enough and there are enough loungers. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and very clean. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired: from a variety of pastries, a hot counter, a yoghurt counter where everything is freshly prepared, to a waffle-pancake counter, muesli/cereals, fruit and much more! Top quality! The staff here put the well-being of the guest first. Everyone was particularly friendly and managed to surprise us every day and put a smile on our faces: from Ram in the reception area to Santosh, who was responsible for our room, to Mr. Surjit, the housekeeping manager. Our special thanks go to the general manager, Mr. Feuerstein, who gave us special care after an accident.

We couldn't definitely choose a hotel in Abu Dhabi, so we chose 3 different hotels located close to each other - Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana, Bab Al Qasr hotel Abu Dhabi and Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers. We didn’t have time to see the fourth one - Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi :)
Of all 3 hotels, this one has the best price-quality ratio.
Hotel advantages: - Nice staff, no problems with check-in and check-out. All requests (for example, bringing water, coffee to the room, cleaning at a certain time, etc.) were always fulfilled - Beautiful view from the window - to the private beach, pool and city - Very beautiful hall with corridors to the rooms. Essentially, the building is made like a tower, the center of which is empty, and the rooms and corridor floors run along the edge. The view was impressive every time you had to enter/exit the room - Nice room, plenty of space, plenty of sockets, spacious refrigerator and safe. The sockets are universal, but are a little difficult to push through. Robes are provided. The bed, pillows, blankets are very comfortable, sleep well - Good internet in the room - Great breakfast - everything you could want. At the same time, everything is delicious. There were no queues for breakfast, but perhaps this is due to the time of year - in the UAE, summer is considered off-season - The best private beach among hotels nearby. The beach is large, wide, clean, the water gets deep quite close, the bottom is sandy without algae. There is also a small diving platform. There are a lot of sun loungers, enough for everyone. Other neighboring hotels have a much worse situation with their private beach - the beach is small, the water is shallow and dirty, with a lot of algae - Nice large pool on site near the beach, but we preferred to go to the beach
I also had a birthday while I was staying at the hotel, the staff congratulated me on my birthday and gave me fruit and dessert.
We didn’t find any cons for ourselves.
What can be improved: It would be another plus if there was a coffee machine in the room.
By location: There is a grocery store in the adjacent building of the complex. There is also a bus stop nearby. The place itself is very beautiful, because... Abu Dhabi's most famous skyscrapers are located here. Nearby is the Qasr Al Watan Palace, where you can take a tour. Marina mall is also nearby.
To summarize, we are very pleased with the hotel and plan to return here again.

This was our second stay at the hotel having previously stayed in November 2022 and I have to say this time around we were a little disappointed. The hotel is extremely clean (as is Abu Dhabi in general) and all the staff and workers were really friendly and you can tell they work really hard to ensure guests have a good time. However firstly the hotel seems to be aging a little. We booked a family room which consists of a king bed, 2 single beds, a bathroom, extra toilet and a kitchenette area. Whilst the room was functional it seemed a little dated and perhaps is in need of a refresh and I wouldn't say was up to 5 star quality. We were also disapointed with the quality of the food and the general eating area. It was sooooo busy, especially at breakfast time. The number of guests can exceed the number of seats and on one morning we saw guests being ushered to some room at the rear of the hotel to be seated for breakfast. The selection at breakfast though was plentiful and you could always find something you wanted. We were half board and so ate in the evenings too. Although this was definitely a quieter affair than breakfast we found the selection and quality of the food was seemingly nowhere near as good as our previous visit. Travelling with a fussy 8 and 6 year old there were times when the children couldn't find anything to eat that they would like. On this occasion we did ask if the chefs would cook them something and to their credit they did. However in general we found the food selection although in general plentiful, a little bit ad hoc and we were left disappointed.
The hotel is in a convenient location, 20 minute walk to marina mall and the corniche (yes we are those crazy people that walk in Abu Dhabi) and you're right next to the Etihad towers and the Emirates Palace too. The pool area was good with a vast pool and beach area.
Although we enjoyed our stay on the whole, I don't think we'll be back and will probably try out another area of Abu Dhabi next time,
