Stepping into a world of refinement and beauty! Every corner of Beit Zafran uncovers mother-of-pearl carvings on doors or furnishings, ottoman-era marble flooring and a courtyard with the gentle sound of a fountain. Staff with the utmost courtesy are eager to tend to your needs; modern comfort is provided (mini-bar, forced air, peaceful background music, luxurious bedding), in an authentic Arab mansion of a bygone era.

A real GEM in the heart of old Damascus. The hotel is out of this world each and everyone of the staff is great. I recommend this hotel to everyone and if we return back to Damascus we will definitely stay in this hotel . Thank you Beit Zafran for making our stay personalized and delightful.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Damascus Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. I would like to recommend this hotel. Beit zafaran The food is good, the rooms are clean and always well organized and the hotel staff is always happy to help and give everything you ask for. Anyone who comes to Damascus and looking for a special rest and not extraordinary hotel ... come to this hotel beit zafaran I can’t express my feeling like it was a dream How peaceful is it Many thanks to all with great love and unforgettable moments

I had to come back to this charming Hotel! This was my second time and definitely will go back again. Simply amazing, the setting, the Ambiance, the relaxing sound of water, charming rooms. Winter vs summer I’d definitely recommend summer even though the hotel was fully heated and cosy with a simple Christmas touch. However in summer, there are more options for restaurants, pubs and street is more lively. Thank you for your lovely host. Pictures from July-December 2019 xx
