Service in MGallery Doha is great. Staff are welcoming since the moment you check in. Even Pool Cleaning Boy was extremely helpful and very service oriented (highly complimented). The rooms are very nice. Big TV, but bathrooms perfect Duvet and Mattress. Glad to see some energy savings model in the light at the corridor. Well done! All in all, perfect stay. Won’t be my last time. So welcome to new place in Doha.

Ramadan in Doha can be very quiet and finding somewhere to eat during the day can be a challenge. So we were delighted to read that Le Colonial, the feature restaurant of the newly opened Alwadi Boutique Hotel in the Msheireb area of Doha was open for business - during daytime, until 3pm. This is an absolute gem of a place, beautiful décor that nods to the Colonial era, extra wide and very comfortable chairs, immaculate table presentation and first rate attention from happy and knowledgeable staff. The complementary detox drink was a lovely welcoming touch, then there is a wide ranging choice of meal options from a menu that includes Continental and Arabic, sweet and savoury, hot and cold.... from breakfast through to lunch options. The coffee was strong and hot, and was delivered quickly. We have been back twice since and recommend it highly for all aspects of service. Full marks to Zarina for her smile and her sweet nature as she welcomes you at the entrance. We also took the opportunity when offered to look through this gorgeous new hotel, which was well worth the extra time we spent. I have said that ALL staff are first rate but a special mention must go to Ailton, the Front Desk Supervisor who showed us around. He was thoroughly engaging and a fabulous ambassador for the Hotel in every way.

It was an amazing experience I had during my stay since I checked in till the checking out. Everyone is very friendly and very attentive to every single details. I tried the room service breakfast and lunch everything was just amazing, only to mention regarding the quality of sausages were not 5 star standard but can be oversighted. Staff was very efficient and knowledgeable pedro was very nice and understanding during service even on the phone the person abinab offered us the good choices during the breakfast as well lunch was good. Lasagna was amazing as he suggested l, I appreciate his choices and thank you for this dining experience. Will definitely return back on another long holidays if possible.

This is a review of my stay at Al Wadi Hotel Doha MGALLERY. We are staying for almost a month. Neat and tidy staff. Helpful from housekeeping. Big thanks for (Milen), (Virginia), (narender) & (Dinoj). They are very clean and very responsive staff. I feel a real VIP attitude with them. Thank you for my main cleaner was milen from Philippines. Absolutely loved the way she treated guests, the way she smiles sincerely. All rooms are re-checked by Virginia the supervisor. So room cleanliness is guaranteed.

A wonderful stay from start to finish. We had been to breakfast at the fantastic 'The Colonial' breakfast restaurant on two previous occasions so we knew the new hotel had high standards. It is located in the new Downtown Msheireb area just over the road or under the new subway to Souq Waqif. The Eid staycation offers had a culinary package and a spa package; we did both as we stayed for two nights and therefore received a 500qr food voucher and 2 massage vouchers. These amounted to almost the cost of the room - happy days! - although we upgraded to a suite so paid a bit more. Another great extra was early Weds 9am check-in and late Fri 4pm check-out, so we had 3 full days there for 2 nights stay. This meant we could enjoy the pool and facilities all day on Wednesday too and not have to rush to checkout on Friday. The suite was brilliant, 2 bathroms (including a huge en-suite) and a living area with sofa, chairs and a bed for my son. We found a delicious assortment of canepes, with a personal note from the GM, waiting for us when we came back from the pool on the first morning. The gym is fully functional includes all the weight and cardio machines one would expect, plus dumbbells, swiss balls and a small trampoline. Marcus, the fitness centre manager was welcoming. The rectangular pool is small compared to some hotels but big enough to swim laps and has a swallow shaded children's pool perfect for younger swimmers. The lifeguards (Abdullah, I think) on duty are diligent and friendly. Very comfortable sunbeds with hydraulic reclining! Cold water and cold face towels served on arrival. Could do with a few more sunshades though. Next to the pool is the O'Glacée bar and restaurant, which serves drinks and very good food. My wife and I both had the wagyu burger (90qr) on the first night which was definitely the best burger we've eaten in Doha - perhaps ever! The second night I had an excellent steak. Happy hour seemed to begin each evening around sunset. We sat at the bar for a pre-dinner drink on Thursday and the barman made my 3-year-old son very happy with a free-flowing assortment of mango juice and smoothies to try. The spa was excellent, I had a very good massage and then sauna and power shower. Finally, one of the many highlights was breakfast (usually brunch in our case because it is served anytime you choose until 3pm) in the Colonial. It is all a la carte, which is much preferable to buffet style as everything is cooked to order, and you can try as many items as you wish from the extensive menu (if you are a hotel guest). This restaurant really is special as it only serves breakfast which means it specialises and certainly gets it right! The variety and range of eggs benedict (let alone other egg dishes), crepes, pancakes, waffles, English, French, Arabic etc has got to be sampled to be believed. ‘Star’ is one of the waitresses and always made us feel like nothing was too much - she certainly lives up to her name. We will be back very soon for breakfast again and probably to stay again when we next feel like splashing out.
