Hello! We rested from May 6 to May 15, 2024. Arrival by BELAVIA airlines at 15.45, transfer to the hotel and at 17.00 in the room. It was the first time in Qatar and already at the hotel we felt the difference, for example, with hotels in Turkey and Egypt, a certain touch of luxury. The room was on the 8th floor, a view of the city and the bay, an excellent double bed, a large TV (no Russian-language channels), a bidet in the bathroom, a large set of toiletries (tubes of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body cream, dental toothpaste and brush, razor), iron and ironing board in the closet, safe, slippers, kettle, coffee and tea, bottled water, carpet on the floor. The food was NV, enough for the whole day, there was a lot of choice, but you need to be careful, there are spicy dishes. They give you a voucher for the whole day for the beach, the beach is across the road, on weekdays there are no problems with sunbeds, on weekends (Friday and Saturday) you need to reserve early, the beach opens at 8.00. The nearest supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk, the metro is behind it, it is very convenient to get around by metro, although a taxi is a little more expensive. I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel staff for providing a wonderful holiday, especially to the reception staff Azat, Said, Veronya, and the restaurant worker Mohammed. The hotel corresponds to price-quality! In general, Doha impressed me, especially the airport! This is a city within a city, I recommend taking a short excursion on your way back. All the best! Sincerely, Igor and Vera.

Relaxed in this hotel from November 1 to November 8, 2024. The hotel is decent. We had room 1716 overlooking the bay and the city. The room had a large comfortable two bedroom. We were staying with the baby, and at our request, we brought a bed for the baby, not very soft. Linen clean, towels changed after 3 days. Water, tea, coffee, cream, sugar were added every day. When contacting the reception, the staff was always available to help. The room was cleaned, twice in 7 days. Special thanks to Azat. He tried to solve all our problems. Special thanks to the restaurant staff. The food is delicious, the staff are wearing gloves, clean. They make very delicious omelets for breakfast. Every day there were different fruits: watermelons, melons, plums, oranges. Veusenskiy desserts... Breakfast overlooking the sea is so nice. On the M floor there is a gymnasium and an outdoor swimming pool. The pool's clean, the kids were enjoying a swim. Across the street, walk 5 minutes. They give you an entrance voucher to the reception. The beach towels are clean and soft, we lived in a room at 3 and we were given 2 towels, we had to ask for a third every day because they have 2 towels per room according to the rules. That's the only downside I can say. Choose this hotel and you won't regret it. Thanks for the rest.

Hotel Pros ●The most important plus is the proximity to the sea, no trails replace the opportunity within 5 minutes to walk to the beach. ●Proximity to the airport, drive only 20 minutes ●Adjustable in-room air conditioning ●Availability of hair dryer and toiletries (toothbrush, scallop, soap, conditioner shampoo, body lotion, shower gel, washcloth) ●Tasty, though not very varied food ●Give a parz of water bottles daily, also, can be taken at the reception if necessary. ●There's a Russian-speaking receptionist at the front desk ●Vouchers for free access to the beach. The beach is equipped with sunbeds and sun loungers. But keep in mind that if it's windy weather, umbrellas can't be used, there are tents to the left of the entrance, but they're very, very few for that many people on the beach, come no later than 8 a.m. to get a seat. ●We had a room on the 4th floor, huge. ●Libra in room ●Full-length mirror ●Friendly staff ●Spacious lobby ●Pool on the 2nd floor, not large, but swim quite ●Trainer with everything you need ●You can swap dinner for lunch
Cons ●Poor cleaning of the room until you kick can and clean, the towels won't be changed until you ask for it ●Have not replenished tea/coffee ●No USB sockets worked, the problem was not fixed, we just found sockets that fit our connector, adapters here with three inputs.
General information on Doha: We ran into the problem that we had old-style dollars, keep in mind that if they were to be accepted, it would be very difficult, so stock up on new bills from 2017. And in general, it is quite possible to change rubles, the blue exchanger in the City Center, on the minus 1 floor does it perfectly. We changed 2000 rubles and got 63 reais. We changed the old bucks from the guide at a disadvantageous rate and paid for boating in this way. And also, bought a tour on the beach from an Egyptian, although he himself cheeky and unpleasant from the tour remained delighted, comfortable car, interesting conversation, but one minus - all in English, the guide through the interpreter can translate, but it is not very inconvenient, we knew English so, there was no difficulty. I recommend it! The price on the beach is 35 dollars, the guide for the same 60, just has a Russian guide and 3 times as many people.

We have been with my family since May 18, 2024, the hotel is very beautiful (lobby and restaurant), we would like to say thank you to Azat (very friendly, always ready to help!). The location is great! The beach is also very good. Our room was 1413 - very, very dirty! Very dusty! The cabinet doors were broken!!! There are no balconies which is very frustrating! The room was 23 degrees at night, it was cold to sleep and during the day the floors were cold in the room! They only gave me 1 pair of slippers! And also our shower faucet was not working well, it did not switch from shower to faucet and vice versa! On the first day we couldn't wash ourselves after the beach! We asked to change the number, but a male plumber came and tinkered with the tap and started laughing that we were making it all up and that the water was flowing normally! We were very outraged by this! Then delicious but monotonous breakfasts! Lunch and dinner are simply disgusting! They add an unrealistic amount of spices and spoil the natural taste of the meat. It was impossible to eat chicken in any form!!! For dinner and lunch they give you just water, no tea or juices! I recommend the hotel to improve cleaning, plumbing and update the furniture in the rooms, as well as reconsider the kitchen! Namely lunch and dinner

I’ve stayed at Retaj Al Rayyan hotel multiple times with my family, and each visit has been exceptional. The location is perfect, just a short distance from the Corniche, making it convenient and scenic. The food is outstanding and truly adds to the experience. The staff is incredibly respectful, accommodating, and professional. A special thanks to Mr. Abdul Wahab, whose dedication to guest satisfaction made our stay memorable. I highly recommend Retaj Al Rayyan for anyone seeking excellent hospitality, a great location, and delicious cuisine.

Paid QAR403 for a day quarantine stay. The rooms were comfortable and luxurious and the reception too was good. BUT we couldn't get a menu for the foods and operator said they were not issuing any menu for quarantines thus had to eat whatever they provided and couldn't opt out. Had to eat chicken & Rice for both entry day lunch and Dinner as they were the only food supplied along with bread, salad with no salt & an apple. No desserts. No salt, pepper or any other condiments supplied along with the food. Had to call room dining services for salt & Pepper to be added for salad with no salt and couldn't get it having called the dining services 2 -3 times with interval of 15 minutes each and finally not answering the call. I wish I had seen some reviews before booking the hotel for quarantine. Definitely Not worth the money I spent.

I arrived in hotel on 1 February as 7 night quarantine . Check in was very good and fast. I get my room and I was expecting nice experience. However , it turned in Something very opposite . Food was very bad , actually very very bad . I believe that they serve same food ( for hotel guests , btw who paid 3200qr for 6 nights) from staff cafeteria.
It happened that I am calling Houskiping 2-3 days in a row and no one came to bring me bath amenities, or change towels . And at the end the kick me out is 6th day , with yellow EHTERAZ , that is showing that I have to be in Quarantine . And the worse things happen it the end when they told me that I need to call Qatar Discovery to complain if I want. Bcoz doesn’t matter if your booking is 7 nights , that’s not their problem. From my experience I will never suggest anyone to stay in this hotel . If you ask to speak to manager , they just looking for excuses and they lie in to your face. Phone operator was really kind , helpful , and always available if I need something . Houskiping came once in 7 days after I call them 10+ times .

The hotel is in the perfect location, close to the beach and the shopping centre. I felt very safe as a solo traveler at this hotel. A good choice of places to eat were close by. The breakfast was decent, had a good variety to choose from. The staff at breakfast were very welcoming. Viranya was very kind and gave me some great advice on places to see. She also changed my room to a much nicer room as the people next to me were very noisy. Arif Chouhdry from housekeeping was also very helpful. Unfortunately the spa staff were very unprofessional, this was in attitude and appearance. I booked an appointment but still waited 45mins until I was seen, the staff member assumed I was a friend of another staff member. While I was in my towel waiting she still asked me twice if I was a customer. She made me feel very very uncomfortable. This was on my last day so it put a sour note to the end of my trip. Apart from that experience, everything else was fantastic. I would come again (but would not use the spa services).

We booked this hotel through Discover Qatar for our mandatory 2 days quarantine on return from India. The room looks old and run down but that doesn’t really bothers us.
What does bother us is that there is a used mask in the room which nobody cleaned because it was behind a curtain. Speaks volumes about hygiene standards of a hotel. The service is really pathetic and if you need one small thing, you will be asked to call on 10 different numbers, which eventually nobody would answer. Food delivery is very random and sometimes they send food for one person and sometimes for two - even though we are two people in the quarantine. This morning I asked for 12 bottle pack of water but I was informed it is not allowed and they will need to check with the manager. So apparently I am only allowed to drink water as per hotel allowances, which are not mentioned in the terms and conditions of booking the hotel. Will not recommend this hotel at all.

The hotel is very beautiful. We will visit the place again. Thank you to Mr. Tariq, a respectable person. Many thanks and kindness. The location is very nice and close to all places in Doha. The swimming pool is beautiful. The restaurant Sahab has delicious and clean cutlets and the service is 24 hours. Thank you.
