This hotel is simple and no frills, that's why we liked it. Our goal when we are traveling is to enjoy the place and accordingly a hotel is just a place to sleep. We liked the price, location, and cleanliness of the hotel. Also the people working there were helpful when we needed them.

Centrally located hotel in Hamra and near AUB. Easy to walk to various shopping areas and major sight seeing highlights. Friendly receptionists and nearby possibilities to have breakfast or dinner. Value for money

As I discovered, this is mainly used as dormitories by nearby university students, and American University Hospital residents. It has terrible indoor cuisine, but the positive is that its located in the middle of everything. Walk 5 minutes, youre on the seaside walkway ghat leads to downtown (Souks, Nijme Square, Virgin...). Walk up, youre on Hamra Street and Starbucks and...

We really enjoyed this hotel. Compared with other hotels/hostels in Beirut it is very cheap. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The reception gives very good information on buses, cheap food and the local security. The location is in the heart of Hamra and very close to the AUB and the boulevard. The rooms are basic, but everything works...

50USD for a double room. this very good price as for Hamra location in Beirut. hotel is not 100% new, but very clean, good service. location is just few steps to Hamra and to American University and 10 minutes walk to pigeon rocks! if you need nice hotel in very reasonable price, cedarland is really good pick.

I'm very sorry for Beirut to have such a bad hotel. We made a trip to middle east, starting from this nice city. Very sad and old fashioned rooms with carpet floor, to say it in one word, it was depressive. Old beds, very uncomfortable. Because they don't have any safe, friends of mine left some money in their looked...

Location was the best ! Close to AUB, supermarket, pubs, cafe, and eateries. From here, you can walk everywhere - coast, downtown, gemmayze! Room is pretty basic but location and the wonderful staff makes up for it. + wifi in the lobby was a huge bonus!

Unfortunately we stayed in this hotel 2 weeks. In general the hotel is very old one. The room was terrible, old furniture as if it is from the 70s without renovating. The bed was uncomfortable. The only good thing in this hotel is the location. it is in Hamra street which is not far from the downtown or other shopping...
