I stayed at Plaza Hotel for 5 nights and this place was really outstanding! The rooms are modern and clean, the morning breakfast is fantastic, and the customer service is just amazing! The front desk organized daily taxis for me, where I was brought to several places around Lebanon. This was probably the best thing I did throughout my travels! In addition, the people here are very friendly. I always felt welcomed and I will most certainly return to Plaza Hotel the next time I’m in Lebanon. Thanks for the great stay, Plaza!
Hotel looks nice from the outside, neighbor restaurant NOT part of the hotel. Limited language skills by the staff at the hotel. I entered a double room with a balcony as requested. Very OLD INTERIOR with mould by the A/C, lamps torn apart, electrical cables joined manually, power sockets totally loose - and sparse! VERY hot so I powered the A/C on. After about 2 hours liquid started dripping to the floor - a LOT! Put down a towel to absorb - also the sound. Powering off going out for dinner. Returning again I started the A/C again and notified the staff. They made fotos and thought it was OK; asking for another room, but “hotel fully booked”... After 2 hours dripping heavily again, staff again - now I changed to a suite! So NOT FULL!! If you need a hassle free hotel, choose elsewhere...…
Hello, this review is only based on the reservation and customer service of the hotel as we haven’t had the chance to stay. I have booked a room as a surprise for our 5 year anniversary, not knowing that we won’t be in the country on the booked date. Few minutes after I send the cancellation to the hotel. Although the booking i chose was non-refundable, the hotel’s reservation service refused to refund any amount and took all the money for an empty room that I have booked and cancelled 4 days in advance, within minutes apart. I have called the hotel to explain our situation, but there is no room for negotiation, not even to refund half the price! Just to know for future clients, that there is no room for error with this hotel reservation system and that there mindset is very business and money oriented instead of friendly and flexible for its customers. I tried to stay the most objective as possible with this review knowing that the money was taken away from our 5th year anniversary celebration. Best to all!…
The hotel is very clean , however all the rooms have AC problem if you are there during summper make sure that the AC is working . The breakfast is very standard do not expect something very high and if you like nice breakfast I recomend to take it outside. The location as well is very good .
