Quiet small lobby, room was clean but no view. I felt safe in the hotel. Only 4 rooms per floor, only some rooms have view. Breakfast buffet is basic. Although the chef on request made a very nice vegan mix vegetable mediterranean dish. It was memorable. Otherwise, breakfast has limited vegan options. Celine checked me in - she is very sweet and helpful. Offered to serve tea/coffee while I was waiting in the lobby. Raymonde came to check if I was having what I need at breakfast. Did not see many other guests or staff during stay. Rooms have more of a contemporary decor.
This hotel was in a great location, wifi was strong, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is gorgeous! As a solo traveler, I felt that I had everything I needed—I would recommend this to others going to Beirut.
Small, well located and beautiful hotel. I loved staying at Monot. Staff was very friendly. Rooftop has a great view of the city. Location is wonderful, close to many bars and restaurants. I highly recommend it.
I booked this hotel as a group booking, 12 people, 8 rooms. The staff were most helpful and offered an excellent rate. We checked in at 2am due to our flight time and the staff were there to meet us and very friendly. The whole stay they were very helpful for local advice and provided impecible service throughout our stay. The rooms are not huge but very modern and exceptionably clean. The roof top pool/Bar is very well designed with great views across the city, perfect all day especialy for sun set drinks. I would not stay anywhere else in Beirut after staying here.
I loved staying at Monot. Although I visited Beirut during a moment of protests, I had a very pleasant stay over there. The hotel is very clean and the staff (mostly men) were very respectfull with me (solo female traveler). THe area of Monot is very vibrant and full of restaurants, bars and karaokes. I would certainly recommend.
This is a very smart small hotel in a central city location. The beds are very comfortable, the bed linen is of great quality, everywhere is spotlessly clean, the staff are unobtrusive yet helpful and the hotel is quiet. The roof bar is very trendy with great city views, best of all there is a happy hour for cocktails. We stayed three nights and loved roaming around the city knowing that we'd have a great night's sleep and wake to a perfect breakfast.
Room doesn’t have a window so claustrophobic hotel was not as nice as I expected for the price. Roof top bar was nice - hotel is in a good location but was difficult to cross the road to get down the town
We really enjoyed our stay, especially the staff and the perfect location. Spacious and modern rooms. Staff was very helpful. We also liked the rooftop and the pool. And why should we really use 200 characters?
Excellent central downtown location with lots of restaurants and bars within a short of the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious with lovely bathrooms. The rooftop bar with pool was a nice social environment. We would definitely visit again.
O Monot is a great hub for a city break in Beirut. Rooms are finished to a high spec, with luxury touches like a powerful rain head shower and modular mood lighting. Also, spotlessly clean even if starting to show a little wear and tear. In-room amenities are excellent, particularly the bath products. The Nespresso is a nice touch as well as handmade sweets on arrival. Breakfast spread is nice, but could be more staff; nobody likes to wait for morning coffee :S. The rooftop pool and bar are a beautiful spot for an atmospheric sundowner, even if the pool is pretty compact. There are some nice restaurants on Rue Monot worth checking out, and downtown is an easy, short ten minute walk.
