The rooms were not that great and need a lot of refurbishment. especially the washrooms. Lights in the washroom were quite dim. Even though I was staying at preferred rooms still not upto mark. Though it’s categorized as 5 star property, but will not at all agree to it based on international standards. Had a bad power cut during my stay for approx 90 minutes and that too at mid night. Breakfast options were good and staff was hospitality was admirable too. Towels at Pool area were really old, windows outside the room were not at all clean.
I was a little unsure about Lebanon and Beirut in particular. This hotel, however, put me at ease and was a great introduction to Lebanon. It was so comfortable and welcoming, and the staff helped me to adjust to what can at times be a challenging city. I would go back again in a heartbeat.
Very good hotel.Very good staff.Breackfast is also good.very specious and wel furnished.Bathroom is also very good. Wel connected to famous place.like Hamra street.Rocking rock ,beatch etc. There is an electricity problem in Beirut but in our hotel have a generator so no problem.
Four Points by Sheraton Le Verdun is a hotel located 20 minutes away from the airport by taxi and 25 minutes walking distance from Hamra district. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly. Big kudos to Ahmed, Adonis (Reception) and Mohammed (Concierge Team)
Though we didnt expect too much from this place, as we are well aware of what a Four Points outlet offers as well as having stayed here a decade ago. But even then it felt more bland and basic than we expected. If you're not addicted to Marriott properties (like I am) then stay elsewhere. LOCATION: Located in Verdun district with easy access to most points of interest DINE + DRINK: The breakfast was one of the top highlights of our stay. Absolutely worth waking up for! Excellent selection of FRESHLY PREPARED local dishes whipped up by highly capable chefs and served by very warm and friendly staff. The lobby bar is a characterless plug-in to this place and not worth even dropping into to check. ROOM: We stayed in 812, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random views of the cityscape and the sea at a distance; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: An almost nonfunctional air-conditioner that heated up the room like a sauna. We struggled to sleep because of the sub-optimal temperature.; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a basic range of weights and Cardio machines SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to the folks at the Restaurant who took care of us so wonderfully during Breakfast HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages COVID UPDATE: THe property has done an excellent job of ensuring safety, social distancing and hygiene to minimize the risk as much as possible. Especially the Common areas and Restaurant had a good implementation of the required rules…
I stayed here for one night last month and basically slept off my jet lag after flying about 20 hours. It is quiet enough considering the city all around and the staff I met were nice. Recommended to stay here.
I recently stayed at the above hotel 2-3 August and 3-4 August 2020. Beirut and the hotel have been hit hard by COVID-19 but the Hotel is still managing to provide good service and a comfortable stay. This hotel has all the Marriott Bonvoy benefits, and the prices are extremely competitive. Whilst the hotel itself is a little dated, it has all the facilities required, and the location is in the City, not too far from the waterfront. The key to any hotel are the staff. I would like to mention Raghida as she provided exceptional service. She was well presented, friendly and made sure where possible that my stay was as comfortable as could be. (she has been well selected and trained - congrats to management) With service like that, I can recommend this Hotel, and look forward to my next stay. Please pass on my thanks to Raghida.…
Rooms are large and clean. The bed is comfortable. Complimentary four bottles of water, tea - coffee and a kettle available. Windows needs cleaning. Breakfast is ok, enough kind of food. You got all the basic stuff needed for a business stay.
I picked this hotel because of its vicinity to the airport but there is so much more going for it. Check in was extremely friendly and welcoming. Many thanks to Nadine for making our stay so pleasant from the very start. One of the best front desk staff we’ve ever encountered. The room was the perfect size and comfortably fit three people. The restaurant is very good with a nice selection and excellent food. There are also several good restaurants in the area if you want to dine out. Uber makes everywhere in the city easily accessible. A great choice for your stay in Beirut.
I have been in the International Luxury hotel and private club business for over 30 years and pride myself on understand excellent service and connection with guests. My overall stay was fantastic and I had a great time on my 2 days in Beirut. This was largely thanks to Nadine and the bellman (I forgot his name but he was on duty every morning during my stay, Whenever I travel its is not the sites or the room or the view that makes the experience, it is switched on, authentic and genuinely friendly staff, like Nadine and the bellman. They truly turned my stay in Beirut into an experience. You have 2 outstanding service professionals in them. Again thank you and your fantastic staff for a terrific stay in Lebanon! Great location, good facilities and wonderful staff!!!
