I missed my connecting flight in Beirut and the airline put us up at the Lancaster Hotel. It took us a while to get checked in, but eventually got the room. It is a small hotel, different to what I have normally stayed at. Not sure if all hotels in Beirut are similar, but my first stay in Beirut. The...

First I got upgraded to a larger room. FANTASTIC! I replied when the concierge declared that to me when I arrived. I dont know if it were their intention to stick all broken stuff in that "upgrade" for a room or they just weren't aware of those damages, possibly inflicted on the room's furniture by a former resident/guest. They got...

I spend more than half my year in hotels around the world and to spend an extended period here is not recommended. The reception was helpful and very polite. English was quite good. The dining area has too much indirect lighting with an odd coloured ceiling which makes it dark and unwelcoming. Another review tells the breakfast buffet is better...

I feel that i must make special comments for the highly professional approach...

Good location in lively area not far from coast road. Convenient for airport, with free shuttle every hour. Staff friendly and professional. Terrible reception on TV though. Wifi free and reasonably fast though not always reliable. Nice bar.

We had an upgrade to a junior suite which was a pleasant surprise, however what followed was not good. The air condition was not switching off which was the reason that I caught cold in the very first day of the vacation - and so I wasn't able to taste and enjoy any of the great Lebanese food I was...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 night last week with my husband. The room was just fine. The room was big and had everything that we needed, nothing extra-ordinary. However, the breakfast buffet was terrible, no choice and even disgusting. Nothing tasted good! I don't think I will stay there again.
