Hell dears, I was in this hotel for 5 nights, honestly I saw it's 4 starts, but i can't give even half a start only for it's location. other wise the front desk is not professional, doesn't know how to treat a client. - room is very small and decoration is very very bad I asked nicely can I change the room, they said no this is what you have choose, they would nicely agree and ask for extra money this is the pro does. but they don't even smile etc. - and I had to renew my room key every day with out they bothering I have 5 nights. etc. -the TV is very small and there no space for it so it look like it's hidden can't even use it, - the balcony is not on the city view it's only on Electric generator and can't open it and take clean air and you can measure a lot of issues in this hotel. worst hotel and worst front desk.

the Hotel is very good location, near the Bayrock and cheaper than common hotel in Beirut. If your children want to eat KFC, is very easy, so close from hotel. But unfortunately, there are no pool and breakfast is very limited item of food, minimalist. Staff very helpful and nice, he gave me upgrade room

I booked 4 nights and due to last moment change in plans could not travel. As per policy the hotel should have charged for me for one night but they charged me for all 4 nights!! Not a bit bothered about stealing from people! I had booked through a leading booking website, they too are not worried about resolving this for me and keep informing me that the hotel will issue a refund which till date (2 months later) has not happened!

I m traveling almost 8 months per year and never happened i write a review, but i also feel it is better to write a review to save the others money. My friend and I booked via a company 20 nights this hotel not refundable, first day we found out it was a big mistake that we have done. Receptions are not friendly unless Magi. We start to go for job every day at 7:30 but they start breakfast at 8:30. It seems the Hotel staff do not want to help you in one team but want to destroy The hotel name purposely, what is idea behind ? Who knows! They know you will put a not proper review on trip advisor and it seems it is what they want. Room cleaners are ok , location is ok but not the other things except Magi at reception. My desk glass was cracked and they charged me extra, same happened for me at Sheraton Oran Algeria and when i informed reception they came to my room and worried about my health. I will not recommend for more than two nights.

The hotel offered a free round trip to Faraya mountain and handed us over to a ski supplies shop up the mountain with an owner named “Joe” which took 180 dollars worth of half an hour motor ski ride only, and upon going up the mountain we found people who didn’t pay anything like us, also the shop owners threatened to harm us if we didn’t leave the shop because we asked for half of our money. A horrible & traumatic experience.

I stayed in Duroy Hotel for five nights. The location of the hotel is about ten minute walk from Al Hamra street. It just by Rauche which is a good spot for afternoon walks. The room was good, clean and cosy and most of the staff were helpful. However, there were issues which made my stay not that pleasant. First, the hot water would go cold in the middle of the shower. The internet became non-existent and certain times and one could find it irritating. The worst of all was the guy in the reception at night shift. The one who is slim and with stubbles. Never ever ask him to arrange a taxi. It is a total scam and he is a part of it. When I asked him and the driver to provide me with a bill, they refused and said that it is only for the company, not you. I would probably not stay in this hotel for a second time

I usually don’t have time to leave reviews but I had to take couple of minutes to advise everyone considering this hotel NOT TO BOOK here at any costs. Simply put: dirty bed sheets, sticky floor, shower with literally single rain drops, AC sounds like a bulldozer (aside from the fact that you can’t control the fan so it keeps hitting tour head) tv suited for a barbie house, receptionist didn’t know how to charge the credit card (seriously)and the bed smells like sweat! All in all, I wonder where the 3 extra stars came from. I’d only put one for the location. Hope you take by my very humble advise, and hope I saved I life as I barely saved mine. Cheers.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!i booked the first few nights via my friend and then booked an extra night alone after she left.1st they delayed giving me a room until the next day without explanation! When my friend checked out at 6am,they came banging on my door and calling my room phone, forcing me to also check out as I booked that night with my friend.i explained I have paid for an extra night myself and after they found my booking they threatened me with my credit card details that they would charge me extra if I didn’t check out and re check in for new booking!check out isn’t until 11am why did they intimidate me-a woman alone; with a man at my door at 6am forcing me out and the manager called LINDA threatening to steal money from my credit card!i had to leave and was too upset to stay the night I had paid for. No one apologised or cared
