Visited in March 2017. Close to Hamra, but still quiet surroundings. The rooms and breakfast was very good. Would love to stay again. Mane restaurants close by, and walking distance to the Coronish and city center.

Actually. They have reallllllllly nice rooms and some that are not very nice. Like all hotels it depends on how much you are willing to pay. Ill talk only about the room I liked. Its fantastic. Super smart TV with high speed internet for streaming. Fooooooood all around you in Hamra and bliss. I enjoyed ordering food and watching netflix. Felt like home.

The hotel is quiet old and decently renovated. The hotel rates are very competitive for a 5 stars hotel yet you could tell occupancy rate is very low probably to do with the general situation in Lebanon in addition to the impact of Corona virus. Staff are friendly . The room is clean and spacious mine has a wonderful green terrace (please see photo). The bed is comfortable and my request for a lower pillow was met on the spot . The restaurant/cafe is dead and almost empty affecting the quality of food served which was rather disappointing. Overall recommended

Having stayed at Le Bristol for the 2nd time, we greatly enjoyed those moments of surprise and great generosity by the hotel. This time, we stayed on 3rd floor, where rooms and suites have a super modern look, feel & ambiance with refreshing decoration on the public areas (including mini scooters), giving it a great vibe and energy! The welcome was super generous, a selection of fruits and biscuits (delicious!), supported by a handwritten welcome-note from the General Manager. Thank You for such kind gesture. What we enjoyed too, is the possibility to open the windows that makes one feel part of the surrounding community, waking up to the sound of the birds, fresh Beirut air and overall feeling the vibe of the neighborhood. The team was (again) so kind, professional and efficient. The restaurant manage providing "insight-recommendations" on latest attractions, the front office team helped to arrange flowers on valentine's day and the legendary concierge made sure there was mode of transportation at hand 24/7. Our stay was semi-business/semi-leisure and therefore the superb Wifi connectivity throughout the hotel and bloomberg channel on tv were well appreciated :) Again, a super wonderful experience to stay here, we look forward to returning back and thank Le Bristol and its team!

Was on a weekend with friends and scheduling didn't allow me to deal with my issues until I checked out whereupon the weekday staff - notably Roberta - looked after me well albeit after some pretty vigorous prodding. My room - a Junior King Suite room 130 - was dark and only had windows (not French windows that opened mind you but normal windows) that opened onto a sort of cafe area that was at the bottom of an atrium. Probably nice and cool in the height of summer but in November this was very dark and gloomy. Since I was staying with friends I established that I was paying a very significant premium for a sub standard room. This was addressed on checkout - I got one night refunded - but if I hadn't had the chance to see other rooms I would have paid. The breakfast is fairly shambolic - weirdly more chaotic on Monday than on the weekend - but the food is basic but good. Eggs, cheese and vegetable and a bread basket. Not worth it if you're execting a proper buffet spread but it does the job. Coffee took forever to arrive. The lobby "bar" area I am going to warn about. It is absolutely awful - decorated in a truly appalling Roman emperor meets Middle Eastern potentate rococo mash up that jangles on the eyes - see pictures. In terms of the muzak being played - yes, I looked it up - endless repeats of Piano Jam by Kygo (yes - I looked it up - it was THAT annoying) truly drove you insane after a while For: Clean (if a bit smoky but that's quite normal in Beirut) Close to the airport Against: Be careful on the room - ask to see another if you've booked anything other than an entry level room Quite far from the fun areas of town Lobby bar is one of the deeper levels of hell...to be avoided at all costs

Our room was equiped to a high standard and very reasonable for the price: dig deep beyond booking.com et al and you will find some very good prices. Small pool on the top floor with comfortable loungers and plenty of room when we were there (late September). A couple of minutes walk from the Hamra restaurants and bars. If you can find a good deal, don't bother looking elsewhere.

The experience at this hotel was the best experience I have ever had. Their customer service and friendliness was unparalleled. I have never met more kind people in any of my travels. I have traveled at lot, Peru, Paris, London, Egypt, Italy etc. and I can tell you this hotel was the best by far. My family and I stayed there for 10 days while we were on a tour of Lebanon. Each morning the breakfast was out of this world luxurious. Macaroons, cheese, omelet station. I never even saw a wrapper from a sugar packet because the waiters were so quick at scooping them up. They really made us feel welcome. The staff was always so excited for our whole group to go out and see their beautiful country. The hotel was clean and comfortable, I got a great nights sleep every night. I can not emphasis enough how kind the staff is there. While we were walking around Beirut on our last day my mother had the unfortunate experience of falling on the side walk and breaking her shoulder. When we got back to the hotel we called the front desk and ask for ice and to help us find a doctor. They brought up the ice immediately and even had a Doctor cal the room to give us a consultation!! When the Doctor recommended we go to the hospital the front desk provided us with a ride to and from the emergency room. They would not accept any tips for this service either!! They just wanted to make sure they did their best to take care of my mother. I can not begin to express how much gratitude I have them. They are truly the definition of Lebanese hospitality and class. STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! You will have the best trip ever!!
