Stayed here for 2 nights with family in the Royal Suite which accommodates 5. It was good value and the staff were friendly and helpful. The decor is nothing short of breathtaking and each room mirrors a different culture and theme. We dined in the hotel and the food was good value and delicious. Prior to arrival I was unaware... Only service worthy of mention was in the restaurant ; the reception were appalling. The hotel in itself was nice BUT your attitude to westeners is not in the real world. Frankly, Lebanon has not moved on !

I stayed 1 night at Assaha Castle ,in a beautiful belgian style room, very spacious ,clean and warm. It was very pleasant to wake up with the sound of birds. The wifi is not great but that is a general issue in Beirut. The Castle is a beautiful building, enhanced by a flowery garden and tasteful decoration. I loved the antique shop... More

Stayed at the Assaha Convention Hotel, NOT the castle-like Assaha (owned by same company). It was a very nice hotel-- cold air-conditioning, luxurious bedding (luxurious to me!), clean and new. Hot water in the shower, fluffy towels, and free internet connection. Quiet! I had a bit of the free breakfast, and tried the makanek (sausages) which were awesome. They had... More

I called this Hotel the Castle. It is an old castle turned into a hotel. If you like old structure this your hotel. It's totally different from any hotel I visited. I enjoyed my stay. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. I can say also that this is an Airport Hotel as it's the nearest 5... More

Just off the airport road about 5kms from the airport set in a beautifully designed courtyard. Rooms pseudo old fashioned and nothing special. Rather over priced at $130, for the basic room, and wanted $25 for the sort ride from the airport. Good breakfast except for the coffee In the middle of Hezbollah land. No alcohol available which is not... More

The hotel style is very beautiful, staff were very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. I also loved the fact where they give you the option to save water by cleaning the lenins and towels once every 3 days instead of daily. Room size is appropriate, and so were the prices. The breakfast was a traditional Lebanese breakfast and... More

We booked this hotel since it was close to the airport, not bothering about special characteristis. Upon arrival we noticed a very tradtional looking building which turned out to be the hotel. Build only 6 years ago, re-using real old construction materials combined with modern structures, it was a real dream to be here. The hotel has different styles of... More
