It was really a fantastic trip to Lebanon, my favorite country, I visited Lebanon the first time in 1998 & I decided to revisit it again & I did. You will enjoy the sea, people, mountains, food and everything, the only problem is the living expenses is very expensive. The hotel was very good in terms of the location, services,... More

I stayed in this hotel several times. The rate is ok, and the location is excellent. Th main problems are the poor services, and the filthy rooms. The response of the administration to our demands to fix the AC or the leak of the water in the bath room is always slow. In fact , in most of the cases... More

Hotel owners in Hamra should start to realize that Beirut is not exactly Paris or New York. That said, hotels in Beirut are ridiculously expensive and in most cases they charge an awful lot for horrible places. Elysee is certainly one of those places. The place is horrible, depressing, dirty, badly-kept, it has a disgusting smell, all rooms have a... More

I went to Beirut for a scientific congress in October 2015 and, not knowing anything about the city, I have chosen this hotel through booking.com, because I have read to have a gym and a sauna and I like too much these kind of services. I have to say that the gym was too old but anyway I enjoyed my... More

I stayed there last week, during Christmas. The rate was ok compared to other hotels in the Hamra area, and was walking distance from all the places you'd want to go to in HAmra (Starbucks, Barbar...etc). However, the room was filthy, small shampoo bottles left open, no one offered to make my room, someone had left their shorts in the... More

i stayed about 15 days in this hotel, I did enjoy my stay. I booked via booking.com but when arrived there was no booking but the receptionist offered me a junior suite for the price of a room. Location is in Hamra so it is close to everything, there is a big supermarket also a couple of hundreds meters away.... More

The room was nice, the staff were friendly and super helpful no matter what time it was. The room was more than sufficient for our requirements, and even were given an upgrade to accommodate a friend of ours which we really appreciated. The location was Ideal, in the heart of Hamra right across from HSBC, so many places nearby within... More

I stayed in this hotel on New Year's Eve. The hotel is very welcoming. They even called me personally before my arrival to check what kind of bed I prefer. The room is clean, and spacious enough to stay at. I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5 as there was no view from the balcony and the bed... More

It’s a good choice if you don`t want anything fancy. Let`s face it: If you really want to enjoy the city and surroundings you should pick a hotel that is near to the city center and that is clean. You don`t need anything fancy, because this country is sooo expensive!! We were celebrating our first anniversary and we wanted to... More

We booked a room at the Elysee Residence, Hamra - Beirut, for three nights, through Booking.com. We booked it because of its location, and closeness to Hamra Street, and because it was advertised as a three star hotel with reasonable rates, including breakfast and free internet. There were three of us, me, my wife and my teenage daughter. First of... More
