From the airport to the hotel it will only cost about 8 Kuwaiti Dinar, but little did I know that the hotel offers a car service for only 5, going back to the airport I took advantage of that. The hotel itself is in a good central position, plenty of restaurants and small shops near by as well as the... More

Finding the hotel was slightly difficult as its placed within a sharp turning, off the main city road without any signs or indications. The Car Park was a narrow small turning without any shading, so be prepared to be sitting in a scorched up car if leaving it there, with the expectation of being blocked in. Check-in was smooth, the... More

This hotel was nice and roomie, cold A/C comfortable bed. Could not smell the smoke in my room but I did ask for a non smoking room. It is a little dated and the smell of new paint was strong, you could see the improvements were in process. The smell of smoke in the hallways was still there due to... More

I had a pleasant two-night stay at this throwback hotel with old-fashioned decor. The location in Al-Qabla area is great. It's just a ten minute walk from the Souq Al-Mubarakiya -- an important traditional tourist location. In addition to the location, the carpets in the bedroom reminded me of my grandparents' house (that's a good thing) and the complimentary breakfast... More

The hotel is ugly and needs rennovation, but fair enough the price reflects this. The major problem was the service. The receptionists do not know anything about Kuwait City and they do not care about the guests. They are sitting in the lobby and playing load videos on their phones, so rude! Never stay here!

I had been a guest at Carlton mutiple times for work, the only reason to stay in hotel is because of its location. The house keeping was worse, I had keep asking for the basic stuff in the room like a bath towel, or drinking water. The Air condition is out dated ,it is either too cold or too hot.

I stayed 2 night in this hotel. Although it was very hard to find, I end up enjoying my stay. The hotel staff were not very welcoming, but also not rude. They were just OK. My bedroom was very nice, all new facilities and clean. Toilet fully equipped and with all necessary products. Breakfast was rich and with a wide... More

I stayed 7 nights during a business trip and was very happy with the room, and the staff's attention. They were prompt to respond when I reported my remote control not working. The hotel was at a perfect location (at least for me), with a wonderful Indian restaurant across the street, a great coffee shop around the corner, and within... More
