Exceptional food exceptional welcoming our flight arrived at 6 am instead of 4 due to delay and their kind driver was waiting for us ! Food the buffet is also amazing and we loved it all the nights we stayed. We also rent a car from them and driven all around Iraq super service and seriously VERY VERY professionals ! The owner and his wife are “superstars” on their own way and we consider them to be the best hosts we had all around Iraq. The hotel and the car rental is a real value for money. Only thing that could be improved is the breakfast which is already high standard but as they say sky is the limit !

I recently stayed at this very nice hotel for 6 days. I contacted them online and the GM was kind enough to communicate with me via WhatsApp and made my reservations. We had some miscommunications as I didnt hear back from him but after contacting him 5x he finally "confirmed" my stay. The initial room I was booked for on the 2nd floor had no window and felt like a basement but I requested a room with a view and they kindly moved me to the 1st floor. The hotel is in good location next to a pharmacy in case you need it which I did. Also there are few restaurants nearby and an exchange and sim card store within walking distance. The bed is fairly comfortable and the shower is excellent. Unfortunately my room had a crack in the wall so when there's a windstorm all the dust settled in the room but housekeeping immediately came to my aid. The b/fast buffet was very nice with ample food. A few staff members speak English but they're all VERY nice and accommodating. The GM's wife speaks excellent English and came to my rescue when I had food poisoning. She was so kind as she ordered a drink and yogurt from the restaurant. Overall, this is a really nice hotel and I would highly recommend it. Everyone is there to please and make you feel comfortable. Just ask for whatever you need and they'll do it. Make sure to have a safety box in your room. And they did provide ample water bottles too.…

My son and I had a great stay at the Taj Hotel. What we most liked is the very personal service by the owner and his wife, and the front desk manager. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Our room was very spacious and it was almost perfect, though the position of the sockets wasn’t ideal and the view wasn’t the best. Everything else was perfect and a solid four stars standard. The hotel restaurant serves simple Arabic fare which was EXCELLENT — probably the best Shawarma sandwich I ever had ! The complimentary breakfast is excellent too. When we rented a hotel car to go around the city at a very affordable price, in addition to the driver, the front desk manager also came with us as a guide — as a friend and no extra cost. Highly recommended !

The staff were very approachable and helpful, very polite ! The breakfast was great ! The suite was very amazing with comfortable furniture. The hotel stay was very pleasant ,safe and comfortable. the location was very convenient for getting around. If we were to travel to Baghdad again, we would definitely stay there again! I stayed here for a day end of Feb. I arrived in the early morning at 6:30 am and the breakfast wasn't ready. The morning was very noisy as I could hear some sort of welding going on all day. The bathrooms need major maintenance. Despite the cool temperatures, the room was extremely warm, and if I opened the windows, the noise levels would increase tremendously. The same evening, there was a wedding party in the hotel, and a few of the guests seemed to be staying on the same floor as me. There was loud music playing until way after 2am and despite me calling the reception multiple times, they would not do anything about the noise. The morning when I was finally able to have breakfast, it was not the best and the coffee was horrible. Furthermore, there is a high profile PMF office right next to the hotel, which can easily make a target given the tensions in the country. With the amount I paid for this place, I will never stay here again!…

Personally. The best After 16 years visiting Iraq, I was surprised. I have never found so confortable as TAJ. Very nice price ang high confort. Jaffar and family are the perfect host. They make you fill as family. Fantastic room and exquisite treatment of the service and the constant cleaning.

I stayed me and my friend 16 nights was the grates nights in Baghdad, I really loved the place the service every one helpful and nice. Big thanks to Jaffar and his wife (owners) for their kind and compliment. Clean , quit , small swimming pool, very good breakfast buffet. Laundry service fast and cheap. Defiantly I’ll be back and recommended to any one visit Baghdad.
