This hotel makes me feel that's I'm in Baghdad in 1970s . Good hall with touch from 70s and amazing lunch and the garden is nice but maybe you we'll notice that the staff in not very professional but still good and unique hotel in the heart of capital

Rare safe place in Baghdad. Located inside the green zone. Their gym and pool are nice and affordable. Stuff is very kind and helpful. Tried their National food restaurant which was good indeed. Hotel always smells great and very clean. Pool area is the best!

Recently refurbished the hotel represents the best option in the international zone. Lavish corridors, green grounds, it has a gym, tennis court and the largest pool. The dressing rooms each with a sauna are a bit dated and unfortunately I have seen sporadic roaches crowling around. The pool is open in the evening but it is unmanned thus someone at...

I practically lived in this hotel over a year.(1986 till 1987) It was during the Iraq Iran War. The food was scarce so there was not much of the menu you can choose in the hotel restaurant but, the stay was pleasant.

I spent two weeks there starting in mid June 2013. Baghdad is a dangerous place and you are not allowed to wander about as you wish. Any time you leave to go to a meeting you meet your personal security detail (PSD) out front and they take you to your meetings. The hotel is in the "amber" zone, not quite...

We were there for 3 nights for my first business trip to Baghdad. The city is not for the faint hearted. You get bundled into a car with bullet proof jackets and escorted by security guys with guns. The hotel has has a recent facelift so looks pretty good though lobby is dated. The rooms had towels, which my colleagues...

I visited AlRasheed Hotel about two years ago, and I was very disappointed with the service,Food, staff, and Management, and the price I paid at that time. But the only reason I had to stay at Al Rasheed is for the heavy security and that's all. About two weeks ago, I visited Baghdad for a conference, and what a change....

I've spent a significant amount of time in the hotel over the past three years for conferences and trainings, although I've never spent the night there. The hotel is fully refurnished thanks to the 2012 Arab League Summit, and I happen to think that the Turkish company currently managing the venue is doing the best they can in a difficult...

The Al Rasheed is meant to be Baghdad's greatest hotel. I had a 3 day stay for a conference. While the hotel has recently been subjected to a major overhaul, which makes it look like a 5 star, it is nowhere close to that accolade. The problems start with the lack of amenities. The pool wasn't fit to swim in,...
