There is no secret, Iran has been sanctioned for a long period of time. As a result there is no international investment in the hotel industry in Tehran. This hotel is self credited 5 star hotel, but in my view is only a 3 star hotel. Hotel is so dated. Apparently the west wing rooms are worse than the East...

I spend 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel used to be Hilton. My room is in a new wing on 10th floor. The room is clean and well designed. Ask for the mountain view. I love the dining restaurant; however, breakfast is just normal in my opinion. Payment can be done by local currency, dollar, or euro. Money exchange...

I stayed for three nights and was positively surprised after having had many negative reviews on the hotel before my stay. However, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the room was good and clean. I stayed in the east tower of the hotel while I heard that the hotel's west tower is worse. The hotel needs some renovation...

A rather crappy and shabby old hotel in dire need of refurbishment. Stains on carpet, drab paintwork, mould on tiles, lamp switch with exposed wires and minimal and rather poor breakfast choice - in fact the only two positive is the staff who for the most part try - and the newly fitted Grohe shower which worked fine.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It has two different buildings west building and east building. This time i'm staying in west building which is very old. All staff at hotel including reception, room service, workers, etc. are very kind and helpful. Although my room seems 30 40 years old it is very beautiful and cozy but my...

It was an almost surreal experience winding up in this hotel in Iran. Let me just say that the only impressive thing about it was the floor cleaning agent used in the hotel. It was so intense, some kind of petroleum cleaning agent that made me feel light headed. I probably lost a billion brain cells every time the cleaned...

We booked to this hotel for 1 night only . Once we got to the hotel we asked to upgrade to the other side of the hotel which was more expensive ( we want to pay the extra) but got refused. The room was ok, breakfast average ,but the service was not good at all. Made us feel unwanted

This is a standard business hotel. Neat and large. It is quite far away from the tourist sights like jewels museum, golestan palce etc. But it is a comfortable hotel with rooms facing the mountains and offering splendid views. We stayed in the east tower which is the newer wing. Breakfast is ok. Not elaborate not bad either. Staff are...

Our group stayed in this hotel on two occasions - at the start and end of our tour of Iran. If you are fortunate enough to get a bathroom that has recently been renovated, then you will enjoy your stay. On arrival I had a good room; on the second stay the toilet seat wouldn't stay up and eventually broke...
