Our story begins with a ninety-year-old house on Lolagar Alley, a famous street in the heart of Tehran. Hanna Boutique Hotel is an expression of contemporary Tehran, a collection of layers that have been added on over ninety years. The experience of staying at the hotel will present you with different glimpses of life in Tehran, a unique experience at the center of a busy, chaotic city, where you can enjoy art, architecture, design, and modern-day hospitality. Hanna Boutique Hotel is Persian Garden Studio’s first experience in urban rehabilitation. The building was purchased by the studio in 2016, and after two years of restoration, Hanna Boutique Hotel was inaugurated in winter of 2018. The hotel has seven rooms, a restaurant, and Platform and Pop-Up spaces. Its interior design is inspired by contemporary Iranian and international architecture, resulting in a modern, intimate space that will provide its patrons with a unique experience.

Luxury boutique hotel in downtown Tehran near most European embassies. I cannot put into words as to how proud I am of this tight capable team for their visionary and harmonious work. Mahsa has her PHD in Architecture and Arash has a degree in Material Science Engineering. Two very smart people doing an excellent job while staying down to earth and focused on their missions. Mahsa’s focal point is urban regeneration without gentrification. Arash’s priority mission is to create sustainable additional income for regional village artisans to stop their migrations to towns and larger cities, so that, the countries geography is preserved, as well as the demography and regional cultures. They each have their own separate businesses in accordance with their personal missions. Here, they joined forces to create ‘Hanna Boutique Hotel’ to unify their individual efforts. I will delve into details of their It is a simple, elegant, It's acontemporary, and comfortable place. The building is an old home in one of the older Tehran neighborhood that is super popular and desired right now. Because it used to be a private residence, every room is different from the next in floor plan, and so is the décor. If you will, it is the simpler Iranian version of the London based ‘Firmdale Hotels’, with their NYC’s Crosby Street location in SoHo that is one of my absolute favorites. The couple has a vast collection of art. In every room you are lucky enough to experience pieces of their collection from paintings to sculptures and contemporary Persian rugs. I’m usually not into fridge snacks but theirs are worthy. They have a great selection of artisanal chocolates and Persian delicacies among other things to sample and enjoy. Everything is crafted for one’s delight and spa-like experience including their specially crafted toiletries. Go try it!

This is a review on the restaurant only. The main restaurant is in the basement and relatively small but cozy and has a character. Service is fine and staff was friendly. We were disappointed to find out that two of the items we had chosen were not available, but all dishes that we ordered were absolutely delicious! Prices are relatively high. I recommend the fish dishes.

It’s located in the heart of Tehran and the characteristics of that street itself is a must see... The staff were well-trained and very professional.
