I normally don't write reviews in general but I couldn't help myself with this one. This place is simply lovely! I can't even think of one single thing which has room to be improved!! Just a few popcorn style highlights for me were: Location, Staff, Food, Price, Interior decoration, Communication, Flexibility around my needs, Sparkling Clean, and last but not the least a novel experience of waking up by birds singing in an old traditional home in the center of old Tehran in the morning. I will defiantly come back :-) An easy 5 stars to everything...Thank you!
We had a great stay at Cedar Hostel. Our hosts were all so kind, available and helpful. Food was delicious, and the dorm was definitely the most comfortable we found during our 14 days trip. The place itself is wonderful, very peaceful and cosy, compared to the rest of this buzzing city. Thanks again for everythnig, we'll come back for sure!
The staff is incredibly receptive to all you needs and really gives it their all to help you out. The place is also incredibly comfortable and relaxing. If you are in Tehran, stay here. You are also nearby a park where you can chat with locals or join an impromptu exercise group.
We had a wonderful time staying in Cedar Hostel. Bani and Eli (& all of the staff) were extremely welcoming and helpful. Hostel is located in a quiet street what is a great relief after walking Tehran’s streets. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.
This hostel is really wonderful, it is small but the owners have created a very nice, peaceful atmosphere in the middle of Tehran. It is very well situated, within walking distance of the bazaar and many museums, and is pretty close to the metro. Staff is always very helpful, especially Sima who is wonderful to chat with, and helped us out with getting a very cheap snap taxi to the airport ! The room is comfortable and very clean, as well as the bathrooms even though they are down on the ground floor, they are also very clean. The AC does make a lot of noise, but if you are traveling I am assuming you have earplugs ! Breakfast was very good, and there is also a cafe which makes delicious food and a great banana/chocolate milkshake. The courtyard is a very nice place to chill after a long day walking around, and is both private if you want to relax and friendly if you want to chat with other guests or staff. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Tehran if you are looking for a cozy, quiet and clean place.…
