This hostel is really wonderful, it is small but the owners have created a very nice, peaceful atmosphere in the middle of Tehran. It is very well situated, within walking distance of the bazaar and many museums, and is pretty close to the metro. Staff is always very helpful, especially Sima who is wonderful to chat with, and helped us out with getting a very cheap snap taxi to the airport ! The room is comfortable and very clean, as well as the bathrooms even though they are down on the ground floor, they are also very clean. The AC does make a lot of noise, but if you are traveling I am assuming you have earplugs ! Breakfast was very good, and there is also a cafe which makes delicious food and a great banana/chocolate milkshake. The courtyard is a very nice place to chill after a long day walking around, and is both private if you want to relax and friendly if you want to chat with other guests or staff. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Tehran if you are looking for a cozy, quiet and clean place.

For us, Cedar hostel was a home away from home. We started and ended our journey through Iran here and that was super nice. The hostel is located in an attractive old house with a wonderful garden full of trees and plants. But the best thing about the hostel is the people who run it, thanks to them we felt so at home there.

We've stayed in Cedar hostel twice during our trip to Iran, on the first and the last days of our travel. All I can say is that it was one of the best experiences in this country! I wish we could stay longer, to enjoy the yard and garden, the balcony and a lovely coffee shop. The owner created a truly perfect place for the travelers, where you can rest, ask advice, or just enjoy the talk with fellow guests. What we loved the most was the friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. And the breakfasts, they were the best ones in Iran. So, if we will come to Tehran again, we definitely will stay here. Thank you and hope to see you again soon 💛

I stayed there with a friend of mine at the beginning of August. The place is run by two young ladies who are super friendly, welcoming and sweet. They helped with all what we needed for our trip. Booking busses, explaining where to go what to do etc. They were quite flexible with reservation policies and check out time etc. The place is an old house with a beautiful garden, good breakfast with fresh fruits egg cheese etc. Highly recommend to any kind of travelers

Besides the calm and peaceful hostel that they have, their hospitality is beyond my imagination. It is a cozy place that you can relax and read for hours - even in the warmest hours of hot Summer. cedar hostel is much more than these, but I think above all of these nice things, are staff and owners. You always feel that you are a dear member in a real Iranian family.
