Hotel in the business district. Breakfast is very diverse. Rooms are European style, complete with toiletries, hair dryer, just no kettle to boil water. The staff are very friendly.. The hotel location is close to the metro Yellow Line and Red Line.. Leave the hotel and turn left. Walk past the kindergarten, go straight and see a 4-way intersection. On the left is the Dorsa Hotel. Walk to the right and you'll find the metro.

I would like to share my memorable and comfortable stay at Eskandar Hotel. To begin, the design is so charming that you can’t ignore it! Every thing just sings to you. The reception desk, the lobby, the color of the rooms and the bathroom are all chosen to give the sense of safety and refuge. The hotel staff are all extremely attentive and polite, who never miss a chance to greet you or take care of your stay. Regarding the room facilities, There are a flat screen television, a small fridge with some drinks and snack, a safe box as well as the Wi-Fi service. Adding an electric kettle would definitely complete the room. The bathroom was really clean yet a little small.
The room service is fast and the menu has various options. The breakfast was nothing less than great as their options for every taste! On the whole this hotel is comparable to some five-star hotels even way better than most of them.

It was my first time to Tehran, and I was supposed to stay in this Hotel for 7 night. In my arrival day, me and my family decided to go for shopping and asked the front desk of hotel for nearby market. They recommended us Vali Asr Square and then front desk prepared taxi for us to Vali Asr. The taxi driver took 60,000 Tomans, while in return to hotel I paid 30,000 tomans to the taxi that I took my self. After sharing this issue with front desk of hotel, they talked to the taxi driver and finally told me that the taxi took more money from you and we will refund the extra money taken from you. It was shocking for me and did not trust the hotel anymore. I left the Hotel after two night and the hotel did not return the extra money.

This is the fourth or fifth time that I have come to this hotel with my wife and now I am staying there for five days. It has been one of the best hotels that I have stayed in so far, a clean hotel with good access in the center of Tehran and with polite and conscientious staff and with very good management and sensitive to cleanliness and satisfaction of passengers. Apart from this hotel, I have stayed in hotels of a higher grade, but in my opinion, none of them have the peace, cleanliness, and sense of satisfaction of this hotel, as well as the other branch of this hotel, the Eskan Hotel on Alvand Street, that's why this hotel is always my first choice. It has been an accommodation. I recommend it to other friends

We have spent 4 nights at the Escan Hotel and it was really a great choice. It is comparable to a 4 star hotel in Europe and the ladies at the reception are really nice and very fluent in English.
Great breakfast indeed and impeccable cleaning throughout. I would like to add about this "travel warning" at the top of the tripadvisor page regarding Iran. This is absolutely nonsense: Iran is the safest country I have ever been to with probably the kindest, warmer people on the planet.

I have just returned from a 15-day family trip (with wife and 21-year-old son) to Iran, with overnight stays in Tehran, Shiraz, Kerman, Yazd and Isfahan.
In Tehran, at the beginning and the end of the trip, we spent a total of three nights (Dec20, Jan2-3) at Escan Hotel in a single and a double room. Escan is located in a relatively quiet side street within easy walking distance of busy shopping streets and subway stations. The facilities are new (except the old TVs, but who cares about these), the bathrooms are modern and well stocked with everything (I did find the shower enclosure a bit small, though), our rooms were clean, well lit and well heated (thermostat on the wall allows individual operation). The restaurant and the coffee shop are somewhat overpriced by local standards but still dirt cheep for overseas visitors. Staff spoke good English, were attentive, helpful and polite.
My overall conclusion is that Escan is an excellent place to stay in Tehran, without any significant shortcomings.
