Based on the positive reviews across the net, we chose the hostel for our first two nights in Iran to have a smooth and easy arrival. A decision which was confirmed to be right. Yes, as others mention in their reviews, it’s not the cheapest stay (especially when you go for a private room as we did), and it seems prices for some services like laundry and sending post cards increased lately (we did not use them but just noticed the new price tags over the old ones), but you can be sure about what you get: a clean and modern room, a nicely decorated place, decent breakfast with some variety every morning, and supportive staff. Moreover, you can book online and in advance. For us it was a good starting point before entering all the traditional guesthouses and bargains throughout the country. Also, HI Tehran is well located on Metro Line 1 (red) which allows you a cheap and convenient travel to the bazaar, Golestan Palace, the US Den, the Holy War Museum, other sights and even to the airport. We also found nice restaurants like Amjadieh Cafe and the Iranian Artist Forum Veggie Restaurant in an approximate 15-min walking distance.…
Great service and staff the hostel was impeccably clean. Also great location with good acces. We will come back soon . We had a great time staying in Hi tehran hostel traveling for the first time in iran and the staff helped us a lot. Many thanks !
I booked a private room, which was a spacious triple. People at the reception are helpful and everyone is fluent in English. The hostel has a nice garden to chill out in. Breakfast is always different and is always nice.
My favorite hostel in Iran :) Great, supportive staff, rooms are in a very good condition, breakfasts are super tasty. The building looks good, too. And the hostel is close to a metro station - few minutes by foot. Thank you for having me!
I enjoyed my stay very much..friendly staff, good breakfast, spacious and clean rooms. It was what i needed to relax after a road trip in the country. Will love to come back and make this part of a next visit.
Welcoming Staff. They help you a lot for any question 🥰 Beautiful common rooms 🌷 Confortable calm room or dorm 😴 Delicious breakfast 🍉🍌🧇🥞🍟🫖☕🍵 Relax garden inside the Hostel 🪴 Clean bathrooms and restrooms 🚿
I stayed one week in this hostel. I enjoyed it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. One of the cleanest hostels I've been to and good breakfast. They also have yard for motorcycle. I'd stay here again.
Lovely stay, as a motorcyclist it’s I say it’s probably the best. You can park your bike in the yard safely. The janitor cleans the whole building every day and he’s a funny guy I befriended with him now lol. The staff is also friendly all of them are my friends now, I really enjoy my stay here. Gladly I chose to come here, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to recharge myself, I needed this. Stayed for two weeks, don’t ask me why. The only what bothers me and I think it’s not just me are the high prices for doing laundry.
friendly, staff, great breakfast, clean and helpful, hope to have the chance to come back soon, free wifi, calm area, friendly, nice to relax after a wonderful day in the outstanding city, warm and cold showers day and night
I recently stayed at Hi Tehran for six weeks, the third year in-a-row that I stayed at Hi Tehran during my annual trips to Iran. I returned to Hi Tehran because it is centrally located, run by a staff that is attentive, caring, knowledgeable to help visitors get around the city, as well as the country. They are respectful of the guest's privacy. The facility is clean. Much care is given to ensure safety and health of visitors, especially during the pandemic. By the time I return to my country of residence, I have made new friends with the staff, and some of the visitors with whom I remain in contact. My recent stay was again a wonderful experience. That is how I consider Hi Tehran my home away from home.
