The best place to chill and relax. Great restaurants, amazing pool, great activities around the year. The best is their prestige club. Proud members for 4 years. They offer great deals and what makes it even greater is Anne. She makes us feel special pampered and loved. She welcomes us with a smile and makes our wishes come true. She sees to it that our celebrations are taken care of. Cakes, flowers you name it. Thank you Anne and thank you Gulf Hotel. You will always be part of our family's memories.
I tried the "Tikka Loomi Khoboz Khabaz" last week and it was delicious ❤ so I ordered it again this week for me and my wife, I highly recommend that dish and can't wait for the new specials menu coming soon, I would thank the hotel for providing this dish and Chef Naseem for creating it 🙏🏻
The Gulf is a very clean and sprawling hotel situated in Adliyah, which is a contemporary neighborhood in Manama. I stayed in an executive residence single bedroom, which is in a different tower than the main hotel. The executive residence tower is building 13. The hotel has an abundance of restaurants and the Iranian restaurant, Takht Jamsheed, is supposed to be one of the nicest restaurants in Manama. The pool area is very nice with a huge outdoor pool, as well as a swim up bar. The area surrounding the pool is also very relaxing an low-lit at night, creating a nice romantic environment if that’s what you’re looking for. There’s an Irish bar right around the corner called Mcgettigans, which is a 5 minute walk. The Gulf also has a beer and liquor store right around the corner, but the prices are significantly higher than if you can buy on base. The Gulf also offers a brunch, and the food was comparable to the very best that I’ve had at other brunches on the island, although the day that we went there weren’t as many people compared to some of the other brunches, but it was well worth the money. There was also some musicians playing in the center lobby during the brunch as well. The gym is also super nice and quite large for a hotel gym. I stayed before and during the covid lockdown, so I had first hand access to the gym, pool, and restaurants for a little while. If you don’t want to eat at the hotel, there are many nice restaurants around the hotel in Adliyah, including a nice ambience throughout Adliyah if you’re walking around, especially on night weekends. Ubers and taxis will congest traffic on the weekends, and it’s slow going to find one and get out of there if you’re out late, but during the covid lockdown it was virtually empty.…
Even though I’ve never stayed here, I still want to give it 5 stars because that’s what it deserves! Why you may ask? Well, I called them from Kuwait and asked them if they could carry out a special birthday surprise for my brother who was staying at the hotel. I contacted the food and beverages department and they organized to deliver a complimentary birthday cake to his room at 12 am and even sing him a birthday song! Special thanks to Armi, Abbas, and Sunuj Deen for their efforts and kindness! Truly appreciate the gesture. 😊 Wouldn’t have seen such a thing from a lot of places nowadays! 😊 Will surely make sure to stay in this hotel next time I’m in beloved Bahrain inshallah. ❤️
World class place and impeccable service. Once the front desk people met me, I never had to remind them of my name. Josephine was especially helpful. First class young lady who consistently met my needs and those of my guests. I kept a membership there due to the personal service & the premier restaurants in the hotel. Sure saved me a lot of aggravation from having to drive in the local traffic! I will be back with close friends.
