Aside from this hotel being so gaudy it makes a typical Las Vegas strip hotel look austere, I can not recommend this hotel. Service is legitimately one star, not five, and I had numerous challenges during my stay. Avoid this place.
My husband and I had a great stay! - The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. - The staff was very welcoming and kind. We were hoping to receive some recommendations for what to see/where to eat from the concierge/guest services as we enjoy getting more local recommendations from hotels as opposed to just relying on the internet and were a bit disappointed that the hotel could not make any suggestions. I will note that this appears to be the case everywhere. We stopped into 5 or 6 other hotels to see if their concierges could give us any recommendations but no luck! - The location was great. We were within easy walking distance to a row of shops and cafes. We also felt very safe wandering around both during the day and at night. The Ubers were easily able to find us at the hotel as well. - We enjoyed breakfast (twice) at the Where East meets West restaurant buffet and we also had dinner there the night we arrived. The food was good and there were tons of options! We had tea at both of the cafes in the hotel as well. It was very relaxing. - We set up an airport pickup through the hotel as well. It was easy and made our arrival stress free! We highly recommend staying here if you visit Riyadh. We look forward to returning in the future! …
I have booked and paid for 3 nights, I had a coffee in the coffee shop, signed to my room, no longer than 5 minutes returning to my room I get a call that they have not taken any credit from my card for consumables. I am asked to come now to pay! I explained I was getting in the shower and I would be down shortly. I went to reception and hour later and gave my card. I returned to the coffee shop and had another coffee, I was then challenged that I had not paid from before, I was then escorted to reception where they confirmed I had left the card, but still I was told to pay! I have paid in advance for 3 nights and am treated like a thief over a coffee!!! Absolutely disgusted with the hotel. I intended to eat at the restaurant tonight but will not take the chance…
Good location with bad and slow service. You would expect to get a 5-star service (what the hotel charges for) but the service in not near that. I also recommend not to use the valet parking as we found some items in the car were missing. Moreover, the hotel called our room multiple times a few mins before the actual checkout time to get us out asap
I am travel agent , we made a booking through the OTA channel and when guest arrived they charged the client instead of checking with the supplier. We tried to reach the hotel through out the day but call was just ringing and no body was there to take the call at the end of the day one person from the operator answered and while talking he disconnected the call .. Pathetic service
I stayed at the Hotel Narcissus, on a business trip and must write this review. I had never been to Saudi Arabia and was treated wonderfully by the staff, in particular, Leeman. He greeted me at the main gate, helped with my cab, as I did not realize the cabs only take cash, Leeman, accompanied me to an ATM a block away, and took such care throughout my stay, even arranging a COVID test for me, interesting places to go after my meetings, and so on. Leeman's attitude is professional, warm, and always eager to help. Leeman is a great asset to the hotel and made me want to stay at the Hotel Narcissus on my next trip, no question. He is a wonderful asset to this organization.
My husband and I booked two nights in one of the spa rooms on the 8th floor. The room was gorgeous and we were so happy on arrival. I am 8 months pregnant so stayed the first night alone to get a night's rest from our toddler and my husband and son joined me for the second night. The spa was lovely I had a really nice massage in my room on the first day and a facial the second day. But sadly the longer I was there the more disappointed I became... The kettle didn't work on arrival and took several attempts to get a replacement. It's not that hard to deliver a replacement kettle so I felt waiting hours to be able to make a tea was a bit long. The air conditioning in our bedroom didn't work so I was boiling hot on the first night, but I only discovered that at night time once I got into bed by which time I didn't want to call room service to come to me as I was in bed/ready for bed and very tired, it was late, and I was without my husband there. All maintenance staff are men and I wasn't comfortable being alone in my room with them at night. Besides, if they couldn't fix the kettle in less than 2 hours I didn't expect they would be fast fixing the air conditioning! On the second evening after getting my son to sleep, my husband and I went to enjoy the jacuzzi bath and watch a film together. Only to discover there was no hot water to fill the bath (it was way too cold to bathe in) and the sound didn't work on the TV. We didn't want to call maintenance as the day before they had taken so many attempts to fix a simple broken kettle!! And our son was asleep in the room so the disturbance of strangers in our room would have woken him I'm the evening. If you book one of these rooms, please check the jacuzzis, kettles, TVs and air conditioning work as soon as you arrive! This was a really special treat weekend for us and not the norm for us to splash out and stay somewhere so fancy. So it was just so disappointing that the room didn't live up to its promise. The rooms clearly aren't services or maintained well for so many things to be broken all at once. I will never be returning.…
Loved every moment... celebrated girlfriends birthday at Where East Meets West. The service was amazing and the food top shelf quality 👌. The staff from the time we made reservations till the time we left was so accommodating and went far and beyond to supply our ever need. Thank you Raju and Rasel and the rest of the staff for your service.
Every thing was perfect starting from main gate to valet, reception, room service, room cleanliness, food is nice also, lounge is well organized and classy, really elegant and interesting recommended.
So I write this review with a heavy heart I decided I would wait until I returned to this spa for a second time before I started with my long list. On arrival staff are welcoming and friendly 👍 My saudi friend and I had booked a few treatments 3 different ones each. no more than myself she has been to multiple spa centres and was expecting huge things from this 5 ⭐ establishment but that was short lived. From our booking we were asked in which order we wanted our treatments by the reception staff as we went through and changed into our dressing gowns the staff had told us we had to do it in another order - that was fine but why ask which order then? The facilities were not open then a lot of time was wasted laying around and I felt our day was too long here due to no time structure eventough the staff were plentiful and the spa was quiet so why was there a huge gap between treatments? There was no relaxing music expect during the massage but the smell of garlic fingers didn't help me relax.. my pal had a manicure in which she said it was the worst she had ever had..i thought she was high maintenance until i did look at her nails😔 and no polish..apparently manicures don't come with polish these days??? Thirdly I had a facial, in which the lady would put some treatment on my face and then take out her phone and show me her kids and take about them etc it was nice but really i am trying yo have a relaxing experience. What got me the most was the facial was rushed, the brand was not good considering I have sensitive skin which is clear from the get go and the fact each time that phone came out she didn't wash her hands before she touched my skin....! The staff were good but a lot of work and effort is required in this place if it is to be 5.star.. just the layout lack of a relaxing atmosphere etc. I also came back here with some other friends the experience was yet again much the same disappointingly, we raised a few issues regarding some of the treatments, didn't feel our complaints were listened too and my friend was awaiting a call from Ahmed downstairs with too never materialised. Girls, if you want a nice relaxing afternoon please avoid this place its overpriced and overrated thats coming from both of my experiences with saudis and once with europeans! Again the syrian lady with the little english was super, amazing and totally friendly and the lovely lia who did our baths really made our bad experience good do thank you to you girls😍 but please sort out your spa it has the ability to be something amazing but the work is needed...…
