I stay in this hotel during a business trip and the experience was very good. The breakfast is complete, good coffee, fresh fruit, the hot part also very complete. The service is very professional and nice. The location is in a well connected road to access anywhere in Riyadh with in minutes.
A very nice hotel with a spa and swimming pool in the basement. The rooms are well tended albeit a bit small. The restaurant is OK but evening meals are a bit snack like but there is a Lebanese restaurant attached to the hotel. It is on quite a busy junction so it’s quite easy to get to but it’s a bit of a journey from other areas of the city but there again most hotels would probably fall into that category. On the other side of the nerve racking junction there’s a big supermarket which is about 10 minutes walk away and various other eateries and coffee shops. The staff were very pleasant and more than helpful.
I was invited for dinner at this hotel. The hotel maintains it’s initial charm and sitting at the terrace between the hotel building and the offices buildings was spectacular, the weather was nice and It was an evening to remember.
The hotel has a great atmosphere, designed with classic Arabian touches and interiors. there is a quiet courtyard for evening coffee and shisha which is useful as it is a bit out of town. Currently roadworks outside make the entry a bit less grand, but once inside you don't notice.
Beautiful interior design in the lobby. I've stayed here 3 times, in each of the rooms the door to the terrace does not lock because they actually have no lock function at all. In fact, they don't even close at all. There is a motorway in front of the hotel and very few facilities in walking distance. They do not service your room every day, so you need to make repeated requests for water etc. And finally the hotel breakfast is not good but Ward Restaurant beside the hotel is fab.
The Iwan Restaurant in this small hotel is the one I wanted to recommend. My visit was during an Iftar Dinner for the company. First, they have valet parking so no need to worry for those who brings their cars (don’t forget to validate your ticket). The interior design was good with a cozy ambiance. The dining area is limited so prior reservation is much needed. They offer wide varieties of food from Middle Eastern to Chinese to Indian to International as well as Moroccan, take your pick. The staff which are mostly Filipinos are very courteous and accommodating. I would love to recommend this place to those who want to dine at some hotel. Enjoy your dinner!
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for a business visit to Riyadh. Check in and out was very fast and receptionists were kind and helpfull. FreeWifi was very fast and powerfull, it never got disconnected. Breakfast also was nice. Room was a bit small but enough for a single traveller, room and bathroom were clean. If you give it a try you will choose this hotel for your next visit instead of brand hotels. Well done.
The hotel location is well placed. The junior suite was very comfy and well equipped as you would expect for a luxury hotel. The staff and management resolved a few issues I had very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble, even getting me some decaffeinated Nespresso capsules! I loved the fruit basket provided in my room each day, a nice selection and I have to say the largest and tastiest black grapes I have ever had. At breakfast there was a huge selection of anything you could possibly want and overall all the meals I ate in the hotel restaurants were of a very high standard. However they do need to improve their breakfast pastries as the croissants were not up to their high standards. Nonetheless the Head Chef made note of my comment and promised to improve the lightness and texture. I look forward to my next visit when I will get the opportunity to taste the difference and see if he has pulled off a typical French treat. …
As an American woman traveling for business, I know what to expect when I come to Suadi. This trip however, was above and beyond my expectations. This was my first stay, but it won't be my last. The staff are amazing, friendly and right where you need them. They have a women’s gym that didn’t feel like an after thought and the hotel staff and management genuinely wanted to make it useful to women who enjoy exercise. If you can get a room with a private balcony ask for one. Sitting outside without my abaya on was a lovely end to each day. All in all a two week stay in the kingdom made excellent by the efforts of all at the Al Mashreq Hotel . I would highly recommend them.
Warm and pleasant hotel. The chef took the trouble to offer his suggestions for dinner. It was an unforgettable meal. Delicious and healthy, with some nice twist...only down side was the portions were too large for me- single traveller! would love to stay and dine again here.
