I've stayed in some pretty spectacular hotels in Riyadh and this wasn't one. The drive as you approach the hotel entrance says elegant but the hotel and rooms are just what you'd expect from a (very nice) international hotel. My room was fine although a little worn and a tad dark. I always wonder why hotels don't expect women to... More

I stay in the hotel 4-6 times a year. Use to stay in the Club floor. Don't stay in the regular rooms. They are a complete disaster. Service is ok, they try hard but none of them ever experienced a good training. That's at least my perception. But they try hard. It's ok. Internet access has been improved. The restaurants... More

Walked into reception and the hotel looked as if it needed a revamp. The room I was given again needed a revamp . The wardrobes and furniture were from the sixties and looked it. Internet connection was slow and the television again was old fashion with limited channels . On checking out I mentioned the room to the receptionist who... More

I have been to the Intercontinental Riyadh several times. It still is a very good place to stay. The pool is a little updated (the fence is gone) and the gym is completely new and therefore very nice and generous. The gentlemen serving the Executive Lounge are very nice and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible.... More

The hotel is in a good part of town with decent security so you feel safe. Breakfasts and dinner buffets have a wide offering of delicious food from across the globe. Staff are courteous and helpful. Common areas (lobby) are comfortable and clean. Rooms are hit and miss. If you get an older room (and on this stay I did),... More

I come to this hotel on a regular bases for business trips. The rooms are fairly old, but spacious and clean. They always provide free fruits water and coffee, but the coffeemaker is so hard to operate, it never works for me. The business lounge services drinks and snacks. Stayed one night for Business. Great, spacious room (club intercontinental category), well controlable AC (not always the case in the middle east). Plenty of free water and fruits in the room. This is an old hotel and hence the rooms seem to be ancient. The TV's in the rooms are quite old(its so old, they have a CD/DVD player in each room in the modern age of smart TV's).
