checked in the hotel (due to a colleague's reservation), the room was pathetic and smelled bad... immediately left the room along with luggage and after a long discussion they finally made the refund and left the place... checked in at Le'Meridian, much better and closer to haram... about 50 meters from the clock tower side of haram.

The hotel is about a mile away from masjid al haram (10-15 mins walk depending on your speed) and directly opposite jannat ul molah. the hotel was fine...but does need updating and a refurb. Bathroom needs some work that's for sure. The hotel does provide a bus service...

Breakfast was equally horrible. I'm a LeClub member and wasn't recoginzed or offered any benefits. Would definitely advice every potential traveller to stay away from this hotel. The mercure...
