We chose this hotel due to the pool so we could have some R&R after seeing the local sites and a day trip to Jerusalem at the end of our tour of Jordan. We were given a huge corner room but swapped it for a pool view room with sunny balcony which meant we could wash and dry some

Nice hotel with a good location to visit Madaba and the surrounding area. Clean rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. We had a problem with the toilet and they fixed it immediately. A small but good breakfast buffet . The center of the city is within walking distance.

The room was nice and adequate. Not high end but had a warm feeling. Breakfast was good. The staff were all super friendly and eager to help. Only complaint was that the WiFi didn’t work in the room. All-in-all it was pleasant and location was good. I enjoyed the stay.

This hotel fits squarely in the category of "boutique shabby chic" -- a term I use in the most positive of ways. It is a simple hotel with solid amenities (bar, restaurant, pool, elevator, parking). The rooms are clean and with all that you need (desk, wardrobe, bedside outlet,

This is a simple hotel, but adequate for the price. The rooms are small, with little room for baggage, and the bathrooms are old and cramped, but the bed was comfortable. The reception/ lounge is comfortable and there is a lift. The large breakast room is on the 6th.floor and

Hi there. There is a daily bus to Petra leaving from Amman early in the morning. I am not sure where you would pick it up if staying at Madaba. A taxi ride to Amman from Madaba is inexpensive and can be arranged by Charl at Hotel Mariam. We chose to go to Petra from Madaba by private car with a driver arranged by Charl. It has the advantage that you can make a diversion to umm al rasas (well worth a visit) and to Kerac Castle. Set price of around 70 - 80 JD.

What time does the restaurant close?
"We were on the 3rd floor at the rear and it was quiet."
"Avoid room 313 as the bathroom and shower are tiny."
"Rooms higher up, particularly over looking the pool, were quieter. (There was nobody in the pool area overnight which probably helped)"
"Ask for a room with balcony or terrasse if you like to spend some time outside. The wifi even Works better out there."
"Some of the balconies are private, others are motel style and shared, so ask for a private room."
$39 - $65 (Based on Average Rates for a Standard Room)
