If you want the things you would normally expect in a hotel... this is NOT the place for you. If want want a bed, shower, with Wifi and transport to or from the airport (EASY 5 minutes away!!!) This is the place for you. The rooms could use some major refurbishing, but they didn't smell, I didn't see any bugs and it looked decently clean on arrival. The beds are NOT worth mentioning, but I slept well enough. I read some of the other ratings, but the hotel staff is helpful and will make sure you get anything that they have to offer (which isn't much), but they are friendly about it. We had a group of 4 businessmen and we all found the staff very helpful with what the few things they could offer. Transportation is free and provided by request to or from the airport. The best part (for me), 5 MINUTE DRIVE, NO TRAFFIC (until your are actually AT the airport!). Honestly, It's all about your expectations and preference. If it's easy movement to or from the airport with a bed and shower for a night or two, that's what you get.

Never ever go to this hotel. Everything is dirty, old, torn sheets, dirty bathrooms and carpets. If your life depends on it, LEAVE. Walk to Amman if you have to but do NOT stay there. Do NOT let anyone convince you to stay there.

The hotel is listed on Trip Advisor and other sites as a 3-star hotel, but it is far from that. The customer service is non-existent, the rooms are extremely hot, and in mine, the air conditioning barely worked. I called several times for a technician but no one came. To cool my room down I left the front door open. 3 of the 4 restaurants were closed, and all were smoking so for a non-smoker you had no choices to avoid it while you ate. The internet was very slow and kept crashing. Also, the bathroom was dirty. Food and drinks were charged much higher than other hotels. I have stayed in Amman before, and never experienced this lack of customer service before.

I have stayed here a total of like 6 nights from 2015 to 2020. I spent two nights here separately within a month of each other. This is my review for the last stay. As always, the staff are fairly great I find. It is just the quality of the hotel is terrible. This last stay though, the service seemed worse too. Bathroom - No wash rag or loofah in the bathroom, yet other coworkers of mine said they loofahs in theirs. Dire need of renovation. Water would also be unpredictable, too hot, no heat, not working for a bit, then spray out very hard. Very annoying. Room - I was given a non-smoking room. I asked later if they had smoking rooms, and they said mine was and that I could smoke in it - without even checking what room I was in. Ergo, every room is smoking. But also no ashtray. Other times I stayed I was given explicitly a smoking room with an ashtray. Air Conditioner was not working and the thermostat was stuck at 23 celsius. No matter what I did, it stayed the same. Definitely not enough electrical outlets for the 21st century. WIFI - Wifi was terrible. I could not video chat and often email and browsing was hard. I had to switch to my US phone 4G. Also, be sure you ask for multiple wifi codes, because each one is only for one device. They do not tell you that usually so you either don't know or end up coming back down to the front desk later to ask. Food - Last time I stayed here my coworkers all had cheeseburgers and said they were great. I got one this time and it was terrible. Small slab of thin cheap meat, with nearly no condiments but mayonnaise and like half a slice of tomato with a small slice of cheese. It was crap. Also, there are no room service menus in the rooms. You have to call for them to bring you one. When my buddy and I were in the bar, there is an adjacent ballroom. There was a wedding ceremony there that night and we could barely hear ourselves speak face to face because the music was so loud. Also, this time the service at the bar was crap. I had to ask for things that were standard the other times I came. Like eating utensils and parts of my order. Oh, and the cafe in the lobby, the airport shuttle bus was coming in exactly 15 minutes. I had no breakfast and asked them if they had anything they could give me in 5-10 minutes. The guy did the typical middle east Arab thing and was just said yes anything he can make a rush for. I confirmed multiple times the sandwich I ordered would be done in minutes. The dude swore to me it would take exactly 7 minutes. The dude sat there and watched as 15 minutes later the bus pulled up, EVERYONE but me got on and I had to go back to him and say I had to leave. He held me for another minute and then brought out the sandwich.

I have nothing else to say than don't. If you have a visa go out to a hotel that you will actually enjoy. It was old, not nice and the pictures must have been taken during its opening. I felt like I was in a 1 star hotel.
