I’m a Jordanian citizen and one of the travelers who got quarantined in Kempinski Amman.
With the current events in mind, my experience in the hotel has exceeded my expectations and is simply wonderful. In addition to the lovely staff and receptionists, the hotel showed great professionalism when dealing with such a global pandemic; by ensuring all rooms are sterilized and cleaned thoroughly, and most importantly, attending the all the guest’s needs at all times.

Upon arriving, I was instantly greeted warmly by a lovely receptionist, Yazeed. He made sure all the guests are properly hydrated, and all meals accommodate everyone’s allergies.

All in all, I want to thank the hotel and every staff member who worked very hard round the clock, to ensure everyone’s wellbeing is taken care of.

Our hotel room was large, well decorated, and had an extremely comfortable bed. The shower/tub combo was large and had great water pressure.
The breakfast and dinner available at this hotel was the best we had during our two week stay. Not only did they have a great variety, everything was high quality.
The central location made it easy to walk to supermarket, bars, dance club, or restaurants. I enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it highly.

During the coronavirus pandemic, I was quarantined in Kempinski hotel.
Honestly the staff of this hotel made these 14 days very easy for everyone.
The staff is professional and very very friendly and they were willing to assist me with literally everything.
From the security at the front door who stood outside night and day to take things from our families and send them to us.
To the front disc Laith and Yazeed and of course AbdelKareem who call you to check if You need anything
To the room service staff from their Manager Yousef to Alaa khalel, Suhaib, Rakan and Khalel they were so professional always on time with the meals always friendly and smiling making everyone feel comfortable.
And last but not least House Keeping they couldn’t enter our rooms ( to keep us and them safe) but that did not stop them from providing us all sorts of stuff used to help us keep our rooms clean from toilet paper to a vacuum cleaner!
Even the maintenance personal Saleh was more than happy to fix any problem you might face.
These people made it very easy for us. And they risk their health to provide people in quarantine comfort and a very pleasant stay.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and even more thank you for being one of the people who worked hard and risked their health to make us feel comfortable during a 14 day quarantine.

I stayed here as part of my corona quarantine during which I was not allowed to leave the room due to local regulation. During this time I was treated friendly by all staff and they assisted me wherever possible. The special amenity kit consisting of washing powder, disinfectant and small household items was very useful and nice.

Right after the quarantine period, when they were allowed to provide me with the full service again, they went that extra mile that you want to see in a 5 star hotel.

Special thanks to Mister Mohammad for surprising me with new bed decorations every day (see pictures).

From the time I got off the car until I did my check out from the hotel, I had no reason to be upset about anything. Ehab was very polite to receive my bags and get them delivered to my room. Gaith at the reception was very welcoming and friendly. Firas (came across two individuals with the same name at the Kempi restaurant) were very helpful in serving breakfast and making it comfortable. The chefs at the egg station kept all happy at busier time with a good morning sunshine smile. Ali at the concierge helped us find a restaurant in the Amman streets and ensured we reach the restaurant without any trouble. Would also like to thank Yazeed and Bayan for keeping up the service levels.
Had no issues with communication at all.
A five star experience!
Keep that service level going on!

The visit to Kampinski was phenomenal. It was made much more memorable by Mr Majdi Sadeq, the concierge, who was superhelpful and attentive. Also, Ms Anwar, who is the guest relations agent, who made sure that our smallest of concerns were promptly attended to. It is the smallest of gestures that add up to the most memorable of experiences. We shall be back for an encore of this wonderful stint.

Starting from hygiene the hotel is perfectly following the covid-19 precautions very strictly with gentle advises, sanitizers everywhere, front desk Anwaar was very cooperative even she helped with advising sight seeing, guest relation Bayan is one of the most proffisional persons saw at hotels generally, once she felt a weak point out of her hands she immediately upgraded my long stay room without forgetting updating new room with all old room comments and also facilitating all crew members for making our stay better, buffet variety is above avarage but the hospitality of Batool the restaurant front was an adequate completion of the restaurant perfection.
Other crew members show a professional care without the extra moments some other hotel do when they wait for the tipping.
My only comment is about the pool music and activity, weather daytime on night time, it need way too much improvement.

After several months where I stayed home due to Corona pandemic, I decided to visit Kempinski for a short escape from the city.
I was delighted that everything was so organized and several safety measures applied.

I would like to thank especially Mohammed Tohom for the outstanding care and excellent service in making sure my room is always neat and that all sanitization products and other needed items are available and also the manager at the restaurant.

We booked 2 Deluxe Kind rooms, but on arrival there was problems with our booking and we were simply put in normal rooms on the executive floor without access to the lounge. Definitely not a 5 star hotel if you ask me. No money back either! We did however have a lovely massage (in the basement) which was relaxing and helped our stay. The pool was incredibly lively (bar, pizza oven and a DJ) so not quite what we were expecting (as all the photos make it seem like a calm and relaxing place). The dinning experience was okay. We had the breakfast on both days of our stay but it wasn’t what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
It was also confusing as there wasn’t really a dress code, some would walk around the hotel lobby and dinning in their fine clothes whilst others would be in their PJs. On our first day our key cards also didn’t work to get into our rooms and so we had fo wait in the corridor (only 10mins but still) for them to find and send up someone to fix them.
The showers were also all over the place, it would hit you if you stood anywhere other than directly beneath it. There was no indication as to which side was hot or cold and there was no floor mat once you got out (i had to use a hand towel to place on the floor).
The range of alcohol at the bars is very limited in comparison to their actual menu (they only had 1 type of gin rather than the list they give).
At the end of our stay (at check out) they ask us how our stay was and we said not what we expected. And they asked again and we explained the complication with our rooms and the over all experience and they wanted to fix the situation by giving us free tea and coffee as we left. No other solution was provided to us, and to be honest we just wanted to get out of there and go.
The view from our room was so bad we didn’t even bother taking a photo (photo attached is from the lift area).

Over all, they should re-evaluate their 5 star rating. It was a good hotel for a weekend away. But not the luxury 5 star we were expecting or hoper for.
