We stayed here for two nights with intrepid Tavel. I thought the place was quaint and homely. We immediately felt like we were apart of the family, the manager/owner I’m sorry I forgot your name. He was lovely as was his family. The rooms were cosy and I had a great sleep, yes the mosque was right outside our room (fantastic view), yes it woke me up but I immediately fell back asleep. It was not an issue at all and I am a light sleeper. Would definitely stay again if in Amman! Shukran

This hotel is the most vile place I have ever stepped foot in. The reviews on here have clearly been paid for or done by friends. The beds are like laying on concrete. The blanket and pillows are yellow from how old and dirty they are. The shower stinks like sewerage. The bathrooms are covered in mould. The hotel don’t supply towels! Or soap to wash yourself with The breakfast is terrible. It includes a small selection of cheeses that have been out so long they’re hot and melting, stale bread, slimey meats, olives, and a few suspicious dips. Positives - There’s a cute bird that lives at the reception which you can pat. Location is decent.

I stayed here for 1 night in June 2019. The reception staff are very friendly and checked me in quickly. The hotel is a bit out of Amman centre but its a short taxi ride. You wouldn't really want to walk it as it's either too hot or the roads are uncrossable. Unlike the west I didn't see any pedestrian crossings so its a real life game of frogger to get to where you're trying to go without getting hit by a car. The rooms at the hotel are of a nice size. I had a double and a single bed in a double room so got a choice, bit unusual but no complaining! The room had a nice balcony which overlooked the roads surrounding the hotel and the big mosque. Yes like other reviews have said the call to prayer does start early so be aware of that when booking or if you have a room overlooking the mosque and you're a light sleeper ask to change. But if your travelling to a muslim country what can you expect, this isn't New York. I didn't find it loud enough to wake me. The rooms have air conditioning which is a blessing. The showers are nice and powerful with enough hot water for a decent length shower. The man on reception keeps a few bottles of water in the freezer so ask if you want to get some nice chilled water, it cost me 1JD per bottle which in 40 degrees seems like a bargain. I would stay here again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the reception side to avoid a noisier experience. The mosque is beautiful though.

Location is fine as it's cheap to take a taxi into the centre of Amman (2 JD per way). There are some very nice local restaurants and a mall within a 10 minute walk. The Mosque opposite starts prayers at 3.45am which meant that we didn't sleep and made us exhausted. This is of course not the fault of the hotel but it just happens to be opposite. Breakfast is edible and the bathroom had lots of mould in the shower. The owner of the hotel was fantastic and very friendly.

The hotel is clean comfortable and beautifully situated close to where you want to be, We were totally taken care of from the moment we arrived. There is no elevator and the breakfast is served on the 4th floor overlooking King Abdullah I Mosque and the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate, an unexpected beautiful view. The hotel was a great budget hotel in the best area of Amman to tour from. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to the budget minded and I would gladly stay there again myself. It is not handicap friendly however, but that is not a drawback, just a consideration. The breakfast was typical Jordanian cuisine with instant coffee, tea and juice. Towels are a little tired,
