Highlights: Great security, outdoor lighting, bag checks, and concierge. Breakfast buffet at Andulusia was great - offering a mix of Arab and Western breakfast food. The room was spacious and the linen was clean and comfortable. Low points: The entire place reeks of cigarette smoke, which isn't unusual in Amman, but this place was worse than others and gave my...

We stayed here for three nights as part of a Jordan tour group. Rooms were very comfortable, old world charm and clean. Staff were very friendly and most helpful including the front security, reception, restaurant and bar. Buffet dinners and breakfasts in the Andalusian room were excellent- huge variety of dishes and always something new and interesting. The meals here...

I have been staying at the Bristol Hotel for some 8 years now. The hotel is OK value, Jordan has become incredibly expensive these past few years and the big chain 5 stars are now out of the question. The Bristol offers old world charm and the rooms are tastefully decorated and scrupulously clean. I disagree with the many negative...

Hotel not too expensive compared to all the big brands available in Amman but with medium quality level. Rooms are a bit old style, bathroom is a bit dull. Aircon is not working as it should: lots of noise for very poor result. Breakfast quality is average. Consider staying there for business only and on short periods.

This is one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had in my life! And trust me: I am well-traveled. The classification of Bristol as a 5 star hotel is a bad joke. All the staff in the most incompetent that can be, at all sections: reception, restaurant, cleaning, room service, management. The people simply didn't do ANYTHING...

We stayed at the bristol for 3 nights as part of a tour of jordan. We arrived in the early hours of the morning & were greeted by friendly staff who helped with luggage. Getting into the hotel was a bit of a task as everyone & everything had to be security screened, but as guest safety is paramount the...

Stayed for a week at the Bristol with a group of about 30 people attending a conference also held at the Bristol Staff were great, welcoming and flexible with the very changing needs (and demands!) of such a large group. Hotel was clean, great breakfasts, large comfortable rooms. The only downsides perhaps were the late night construction noises and the...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour but, as previously mentioned, we didn't find it too busy at check-in or at breakfast. It is an older hotel but it also has a newer wing. We stayed two separate times: once in the older part and once in the newer wing. We preferred the older rooms because...

This is a perfectly adequate stopping point in Amman in a tour of Jordan. It has everything a traveler could want for a couple of nights. It is not particularly well situated, being some distance from the main tourist sites, but it is a spacious, clean and friendly hotel, and I would stay there again. Security is always evident, with...
