I was escorted to my room, which was upgraded to a suite, a nice touch. The tv in the living room only got Arabic channels which was a disappointment because I ordered room service and wanted to eat in that room and watch tv. Luckily the bedroom tv got English speaking channels as well. The meal I ordered was delivered right away and was good. There was a small assortment of fruit and dates in the room when I arrived which was also very nice. I was dying to swim in the 19th floor pool, but when I arrived there were a ton of small children in it without any adult supervision. There were women dressed all in black head to toe sitting on the side of the pool, I guess they were the childrens mothers? I was worried something was going to happen with these kids since they were all horsing around and no adult was in the pool. So I sat there for a few minutes hoping they would leave and then just went back to my room. When I checked in my guide asked that a to go breakfast box be prepared for me because I had an early flight the next morning. When I checked out the person behind the desk had no idea what I was talking about so it had to be prepared. The airport was not a short ride away but we made it just fine. I could not eat the breakfast since it was fruit juice and all sweet pastries (I am diabetic). I gave it to my driver. There was construction going on across the street from this hotel on some huge building so it was pretty loud during the day but at night it was quiet. The toilet in my room would not flush properly. I had to flush it 4 or 5 times to get things to go down it.

This place is bit hyped. I really fell for it and booked for 4 nights. It's seriously not worth the price. I mean u can actually get a real 5 star Hotel with this price. I think it was 5 star 10 years back, I am telling this because it's totally outdated.

I stayed here for two nights (my only two nights in the country). We did not spend a lot of time here, but the time we did spend was excellent. We were on the 14th floor with a great view of the city. It was an amazing sight at night to see the lights of the mosques throughout the city. The hotel is very centrally located and can be found in the upscale Shmeisani district. There are quite a few restaraunts within walking distance. The fitness center is located on the 19th floor with a great, helpful staff. The lobby and valet crew looks like something out of the middle ages - very appealing! The lobbies are excellent with live music every night. They have a computer room that has internet and is free for guests. The only drawback of our stay there was the pushiness from the hotel staff - they would not take a simple no for an answer. The main reason for this (as we found out) was because of tips. They are quite pushy with that as well. However, I have found this attitude towards tips a common thing in the Middle East, so I do not judge them on that - it is just something that I am not used to coming from America. I will definitely stay there the next time I go back.

I passed by at the early night to pickup a friend of mine. Your professional associate "Abdullah" has been extremely supportive and helpful in assisting me recognizing my friend's room. He offered me a very professional demeanor.
I truly envy you for having such dedicated person like him.

God bless you always.

The Regency Palace hotel its a lovely hotel in Amman not far away from with Centar of the city.. Its decor reminded us of the English Manor house. We have been given a large beautiful suite with its own sitting area, and large king size bed that was very comfortable. The bedding and linen was very soft and we had 4 good nights sleep.
The room has a nice classical decor. It was cleaned every day and we always had few free bottles of water every day.
The breakfast was great with the Jordanian and European buffet which we enjoyed it very much.
The Hotel and restaurant manager Murad and his restaurant team, and bar staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a Jordanian dinner in the restaurant in the hotel and the food was very tasty delicious, and tasty. Staff was very attentive. Also in the basement of the hotel there is a Traders Vic’s Bar and restaurant , great for cocktails.

We did initially book for a double room but we had an upgrade by the Hotel Manager to a suite inclusive of breakfast for the 4 nights we stayed in which was very kind.. and we were so grateful.. It shows that they care about their guests…
Overall the stay in Regency Palace hotel was very pleasant for me and my partner, and we shall definitely come back in this hotel again. The people in the restaurant, the hotel staff and the management team made our stay very pleasant here..Liz and Adam

Extremely disappointing and not a 5 star hotel for standard of customer service or quality of rooms. No bathrobes, ironing board and the hairdryer should be a museum piece. A handryer would have been more effective at drying my hair. Hotel rooms feel like they have been long since abandoned and not maintained, wallpaper coming away from bathroom walls, faded carpet outdated fixtures. Single glazing and very noisy, woken by building site works at 630am. The service in Trader Vics is equally disappointing, had to find a seat ourselves and request a number of times we would like to make an order for food. Booked this hotel to enjoy the U lounge and outdoor rooftop swimming pool which as you can see from the pictures is in disrepair. I was told it was closed as it wasn't warm enough, I would suggest it is closed for good and should be removed from their marketing. The indoor pool although open is also poorly maintained with tiles missing, cracked mirrors, peeling paintwork. This is the only hotel I have stayed at when on checkout wasn't asked if I enjoyed my stay or thanked me for staying. It was not a good reflection on the hospitality in Jordan. I suggest they visit the Crowne Plaza in the Dead Sea for a great example of maintenance and Infinity Lodge in Petra for training on customer service. The best think I can say about my stay was the choice of breakfast. I would question the 5 star reviews and suggest they haven't actually stayed here.

I loved this hotel - it's old, but very well kept.
Starting with the public areas, they are classy and look great.
Rooms are big and specious, service was just wonderful !
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The food was really GREAT ! All was very clean and relaxing.
The location was not far from the Abdali mall so it was really easy to reach out
and to enjoy some good shopping.
I would recommend to stay there if you are on a business trip or on a short trip.
I would love to come over again !

Regency Palace Hotel in Amman is lovely. It has an aged elegance that some might find off putting if they like shiny, sparkly things. I found the atmosphere and decor delightful and the service exceptional! Chocolate on the pillows with the next day’s weather report were old-world touches that the Kempinski in Amman, the Mövenpick in Dead Sea, and the Petra Moon Luxury did not provide. I spent two weeks traveling in Jordan and staying in five-star hotels. The staff at Regency Palace was by far the most gracious and accommodating. It is true that some portions of the hotel need to be refurbished but it is clean and tidy. The rooftop pool is still very chic. I loved my four-day stay at this hotel and am especially grateful for their kindness helping me receive luggage that had been lost by an airline for over eight days. Finally, I would like to specifically like to mention Mr. Fadi, the bartender at the rooftop pool. He made me an amazing virgin Mojito with fresh mint that was extraordinary! Futher, when he noticed that I did not have tanning oil he brought a bottle over and suggested that I use some so I would not burn. That was so nice!

The hotel has excellent service, comfortable rooms and is in a great location. The rooms were spacious and spotless with great decor and clean sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options and dinner was well served. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The pool here at the hotel is beautiful, mainly the rooftop pool. Nothing was too much trouble.

Staff: Mr. Fadi. He is a good man and I had a great time with him. I would recommend Mr. Fadi's service at U lounge.

I liked the hotel its old but very well maintained. The staffs are helpful & friendly.

Food are really delicious. We tried fried rice, Marianas and chocolate Fondoue (recommended by chef Tiger) at Trader Vic’s. The restaurant is in the basement of the hotel and it’s remarkably decorated.

When the chef of the restaurant came to know that we are vegetarians he cooked a special fried rice for us and it was appetizing.

Really appreciate the efforts of cheff Tiger and the lady who introduced us to the chef.

Thank you Trader Vic’s for a memorable experience.

Late checkout is determined by the next day's occupancy. Take a cab and don't book it through the hotel. It is way more expensive. Uber operates but not very well.
