Detailed Reviews
The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast was fine. You can improve the rating using a few tips. First, only take a room away from the street. The hotel controls the temperature and you have to open a window to keep it cool in the winter. It is too noisy near the busy street and mosque. Second, there are several places to eat up the street that are cheap and a liquor store 3 doors down the street. With this information you can make your stay a 4 or 5 experience. Let me know if this helps.

For the visiting tourist the Ermitage is one of the better dining experiences in the 7th Circle. The alternatives are either fast food joints or a few expensive for the amount of food you are getting franchises. Having been to the Geneva at least 6 times the dinner is great but strongly varies night to night. Sometimes it is a mind blowing buffet but at other times it seems to lack in entrees. For cold salad lovers there is never a lack of food. The service however is top notch and is run by Yanal on nights.

Nice hotel with a descent and friendly set up. Was there for a short stay of 3 nights and felt very relaxing. The hotel is stationed in a very convenient location with many action happening around it in the evening, including to grab a quick snack in Jordan style.
The rooms were quite clean and nice. Had a descent set of amenities too. Very spacious bathroom / washroom as well. May be it would be a complete icon if the washrooms had bidet showers for the toilet which is the only notable miss I came across.
Restaurant and food offerings are excellent with a nice set of variety. Convenient seating and serving within the restaurant
Recommend for business travel. Yes it could also be easily recommended for a holiday in the city as well.

We stayed in this hotel on two separate nights as a part of a tour of Jordan and Israel. The Libby was appealing, and dining was okay. The room was lackluster in that the thermostat did not work, and the only way to co trul the temperature was to open a screen less window onto a very busy Main Street. The bath fixtures were clean but dated and the bath tub did not hold water. In fact, a stopper wasn’t even provided. While I realize standards abroad may be different, I could not get this to a “3” though the staff were as pleasant and helpful as they could be.

Came here as part of a tour group and enjoyed the buffet dinner, which had a large selection of unique salads, savory hot entrees, and fabulous deserts.
That said, the noise created by a wedding going on made it tough to sleep soundly. Bathroom was in need of a reno, but acceptable.

The hotel is away from the centre of town but for our purposes the location was good as it gave easier access to the airport and Jerash. The immediate location was quite noisy but had good local amenities.
The hotel is a tad run down. For example we had 2 lights in our room for which the switches didn't work and both were hard wired in. The only way to turn them on or off was to unscrew the light bulb.
As a result of the guests in a neighbouring room smoking, our room smelled of smoke but we couldn't air the room at night due to the constant traffic noise. Whilst the smoking neighbours aren't the fault of the hotel, it was less than ideal that the smoke transferred in to our room.
One of the attractions when booking for us was the pool but this was not usable when we visited.
Breakfast was really good and the staff are friendly.

The Geneva Hotel is a little frayed around the edges: wifi occasionally temperamental, shower pressure a bit weak, curtains let in some light. However, I wasn't troubled by noise and slept well (room floors largely covered by carpet); I liked the buffet meals and service was good; easy free parking for hire car; we used it as a conference location which all worked well. It is some way from the buzz of downtown Amman but the flipside is that it's quick and easy to drive from the hotel and South out of the city to Dead Sea, Petra, etc, and to the airport. I'd definitely stay there again

The hotel provided a good location to visit Amman with plenty of local shops and little restaurants if needed. It does not serve alcohol but within a 2 minute walk is a great off licence. Alcohol in Jordon is not cheap, but available if you feel the need. The hotel service and restaurant was excellent. Freshly prepared dishes cooked on demand. Nice to have complimentary water and the rooms nice although a bit tired. Would recommend a room not in the front of the hotel and main road for quite, but if you want to see life going on, great. The pool area was being completely renovated so out of action.

No idea in fact I have applied to the visa in advance of my travel and when I arrived to the airport it was all good, however I would recommend to get a Jordan Pass for your trip which makes it way easier to skip queues and pay nothing in heratige and archeoligist sites.
I am now replying to my own question! We felt very safe walking around the area but there is nothing to see! If you cross the foot bridge there is a cheap Gyro place that was great. On the same side as the hotel to the left is a mini mart and a wine store. The wine is pretty pricey compared to home.

El Wifi era caro y de mala calidad. No te recomiendo comprarlo. No obstante, con la primera noche nos "regalaron" 24 horas. Se puede pagar en dólares y euros, sin problema.
